I'm sure it's been pointed out, but you don't get to buy back 1/1's with Shirei when you Skullclamp them. They die as 2/0's, so the ability doesn't trigger.

Sheri checks power when the creature dies not when it enters the graveyard, skull clamp draws you cards but prevents them from coming back unless they are 0 powers. 15:20 was a misplay. The direct ruling is "2/1/2005 Shirei’s ability only triggers if the creature’s power immediately before leaving the battlefield is 1 or less"

Storm is the funniest way to win after a long rule of law. Jon misplayed again though, turnabout only lets him untap one permanent type, but he untapped lands and artifacts

Once in a while it is nice to see you play combos, I understand why you usually don't do that, but I appreciated it, even though it was a weird setup, with Jon and Justin being the only combos, Stephen trying to hinder them and Jeremy being the greatest enabler of all time. Still, good job for this season and for the ones to come!

I still come back to watch this video all the time just to see the pure excellence that is Jon Suarez go off with storm! This one episode inspired me to create my own storm commander deck (Kess not Dralnu though) and is honestly everything I love about storm in commander and what my play group fears every time my Kess deck gets pulled out. This was quite fun guys! It was a good episode. I'd love to see a ban list theme next season. It could make for some funny plays as well as highlight the reasons certain cards are banned.

I love really slow, grindy strategies and really fast combo strategies, so the fact that a prison deck and a storm deck were the highlights of this episode really made my day. Was not aware Aetherflux Reservoir checked life-gain upon resolution of its trigger, I may need to start incorporating that card into some of my more spell-slingy decks. I only wish Green had been given a UW deck so he'd have the blue disruption to back-up his prison effects. I'd love to see a Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar deck as Justin mentioned at the start. I've been thinking of ideas to have a mono-color commander deck of every color, and was thinking about Tomorrow for blue.

Justin Parnell, that's not how Skullclamp and Shurei work. Your apostles have 2 power off the clamp. Shurei would never trigger off that.

I want to see someone actually use Remembrance in Commander with out shadowborn apostle or relentless rats. I've done this in a deck and really love the interaction it causes with the deck its in. I've been playing a 4-colour energy deck using atraxa as the general and it is super fun! I dropped red in favour of a general who actually interacts with energy and I can promise it does not disappoint. Would love to see one of you guys play something like it.

Jon: Gush's bounce land cost is alternative, not additional. When casting a spell "Without paying it's mana cost", you cannot use alternative costs. Just ask the new Expertise cards. Does it matter? Not really. But considering Stephen did try to call you out on it, it's fair to point it out.

Technically the shadowborn apostle doesn't come back, after it got skullclamped because it's power was 2 when it left the battle field, and so doesn't trigger shirei. On Another note, I play the same exact lands in my Shirei deck, good choice justin

While I'm not remotely mathematically-inclined enough to ever want to play storm, I gotta say mad props to people who do it. Balancing your board and mana like that is much more skill-intensive than just going infinite and killing everyone in a couple steps

New idea: Pilots vs Captains (or a better term if one has more creativity), with Braids, Conjurer Adept and Depala, Pilot Exemplar as the Pilots (or at least the ones wearing pilot goggles), and Ramirez DePietro and Captain Sisay as Pirates. Cards named are of course as example.

Each player has a different win con, such as Barren Glory... Coalition Victory, Dark-steel Reactor, Near-death Experience etc, and if you win the game with your win con, maybe you get double points or something? Similar to secret agendas!

Theme for next season: Mark Commander. No Color identity Restritions for the deck building, but you can't generate mana of colors outside your commander color identity. It's a really small change, but I would like to see the results.

Episode idea: Each player plays a Progenitus deck but cannot have any cards other than their commander and basic lands overlapping between the four decks. It sounds dumb, but interesting to see what differences the decks have with that kind of deck building restriction. Plus the "who gets the commander out first" dynamic could be fun.
