Valkyries are awful vs scouts. Scouts are excellent anti air, don't underestimate them there (50% more DPS than goliaths, and obviously waay tankier and more mobile). Make Wraiths and ghosts for lockdown to deal with it. Making BC's as well is exactly what you should do, so good choice there (although scouts wreck them, but SC2 Terran got no real answer besides well microed Vikings and otherwise just avoiding fighting you, which you can deal with through lockdown). Too bad you were riddled with awful teammates that first game. It happens.
