Starcraft 191V Maiden Voyage

Nice set up. Looked like 3-4 foot rollers there. What lake was that & what were you fishing for with the down riggers. Also how did it handle in that 3-4 foot chop? Looking at a 2001 Islander 191 for sale right now. Any advice is great advice. Thanks.

That was shot on Henderson Harbor on Lake Ontario. We've changed it up a bit with electric down-riggers and some nice planer board masts. Added some LED lightening on the inside and some other small things. We've been in 5-7 footers on the lake and it handles them really well.

Thanks for the fast reply. I mostly would be fishing Lake Erie & maybe take a salmon trip in fall on Lake Michigan if I somehow can buy it. I heard this particular boat can be a rough ride because of how light it is. Lake Erie 4 footers are the worst of all the great lakes because in the western basin it is so shallow. That is where I would be.

I keep watching this video over and over I bought a islander 221v last year and if been redoing the deck and interior.. so until I can make my maiden voyage I say dream by watching yours lol I cant wait to try it out
