Just throwing out the pro tip that when Protoss is recalling to a nexus, like shown @ 28:48, the position of the units in the selection will be their same position placed around the nexus. If he had put the archon and disruptor on the south side of the selection, they would have appeared south of the nexus.

I think these kinds of games that are close to the peak of the game but not quite are very interesting to watch and also more educational than seeing the 50th iteration of meta. And I specifically include the "mistakes" in this between Biles and Novas. It's refreshing to see that even players on that level get overwhelmed by multitasking at times (saying this knowing that I couldn't ever dream of getting remotely close to the players' skill). Ultimately, I'd say the deciding factor in this game were the observers and it was great to see how much vision and map control matter.

To be honest, I never considered Bly to be a pro. Semi-pro at best. He's pretty awful for a professional. So I wouldn't exactly say they're "players on that level."

Mutas are my favorite unit. My ideal strategy is to max out my supply with mutas with zerglings/others if needed, with workers. There's a reason I'm in the lowest rank.

i ranked up to platin with muta only (obviously some queen/ling/bane to defend early agression). Works wonders, especially if enemies are lazy scouters, which they always are in lower ranks.

"Recall is used but disruptor ends at the wrong side of the nexus, bit of rng, you can't control that kind of thing". Actually you can, depending where your units are within the recall circle, they spawn accordingly around the nexus. If the disruptor would have been on the bottom side of the recall it would have also spawned at the bottom side of the nexus. Non the less, in the heat of battle that would be hard to pull off but it's not rng, technically speaking you can (and maybe should) control it as a protoss player. Bit of starcraft 2 trivia for today! (And the same goes for the mothership recall btw)

"MASSIVE Disruptor hits!" ...There were perhaps ten decent connections TOTAL in the entire game. The Disruptors definitely didn't pay for themselves. It was comical to see an explosion on the Swarm Hosts and for the Swarm Hosts to just live right through it. Disruptors are garbage. Protoss make them because they don't have any other decent forms of long-range splash damage. I'd trade them out for something like a Ravager in a heartbeat, given that the Ravager is useful even if the biles miss. It was still a great game, and I look forward to seeing more form Arrogfire!

Agreed man. Watching gameplays is always the same, "having luck with that disruptor shot...." Other races have either worth splash damages and or critical hits more efficient. They would be great if Blizz changes some rules about it ...but that'd OP right?

I admit, I never understood fully why its preferable to upgrade Protoss unit armor instead of shields. Yeah it's a little more expensive to go for the shield upgrade, but it upgrades ALL your units plus your structures, and when Protoss units fight they're going to take the hits to their shields first, which will then regenerate if they survive.

It might upgrade all units and buildings but this doesn't have that much benefit. Armor is typically first because Protoss units that need to stay alive for longer have more HP than they do shields, so it makes sense to upgrade armor first as shields will regenerate. With mass Blink play sometimes they go shields first as they are 80/80, but its personal preference. Also Protoss might upgrade shields when they're planning an air transition but this is typically late game.

The point of the swarm host is to trade nothing for something. Getting greedy and landing the locusts on the mineral line when you could pick off 1 or 2 stalkers is not the correct play if you have no way of knowing if any locusts will survive the transit
