Clem: has to slow push and clear tons of creep to distract for a drop to get some drones and scratch a hatchery. Reynor: Just runs in some banes and zerlings takes out planetery easy. Clem: I build an insult base.

When there are ghosts in the title, there is almost certainly going to be nukes as well. Baffled by this contradiction, I entered the video with intent to uncover the reason for this discrepancy. The conclusion? It seems Clem forgot that nukes exist, which clearly explains why he's been having trouble lately. Someone needs to go remind him, for his own sake and ours.

@@skipperg4436 Nukes are never used to actually kill any units on the pro level; they primarily either distract the opponent or to force some zone control in order to enable a different play. A decent way to force an opponent's army away from where you want to attack is to nuke a far-away expansion just to make that "Nuclear Launch Detected!" notice get their attention. The nuke itself is going to probably accomplish nothing; it's the follow-up towards the reaction to said nuke that's the real play maker.

Ghosts are strong against mutas. Ghosts have longer range, do bonus damage against light units, and in most situations can one-shot mutas with snipe. Plus at 150/125 vs. 100/100 even if you just trade 4 for 5 or 4 for 6 you're breaking even on resources.

Clem's strategy of building so many command centers (400 minerals or 550 as orbital command) meant that even as he lost command centers it didn't really damper his income. And if it costs the opponent more than that many resources, it's a net win for the Terran even if they lost the command center (assuming they don't lose too many SCVs along with it). I mean it takes about 20 banelings to kill a command center, so 1000 minerals and 500 gas. Or 16-22 zerglings. As long as you can regain positions quickly there is very little downside.

Awesome match. Reynor played great, but clem was amazing. He stayed calm and collected anytime he was threatened, and had such a domineering force on the map. Would have liked to see some nukes though. With how strangled the zerg were with the insane creep control, he would have some guaranteed damage.

Games likes this just encourage me to hotkey a group of 2-3 hydras and sending them blindly across the map with a-move with an overseer to clear out the widowmines. The amount of damage they dish out to zerglings is insane. There were like 80-90 widowmines in this game. and probably hundreds of zerglings they killed.

Her Marines have super stim. The Ghosts only have EMP and Snipe (which can be upgraded to Triple Tap snipe). The Super-Stim also increases damage and heals the Marines.

As much as I despise the bugs and their contestant wins in tournaments. I am struggling to find a way for them to deal with ghosts. I mean at some point you will get enough ghosts to just snipe all seers before the ling bane does enough damage. That is also not taking into account the terrain creep aka minefields that can also deal with the ling bane.
