"nothing between u and the objective" ? ,there are a lot of ground unit near there and can be avoided if he just send a bit time to fly between high ground ,and he can just sit on the high group and clear all nearby AA defense and other ground unit easy without losing a single unit ,and he don't even try to rescue all the free unit at all and my option still stand about defense structure ,feel like he is the only one who lost his base while done this mission in brutal here

Valerian own Moebius. Narud is the boss of Moebius. Maybe Narud was in charge of this facility and neither Valerian or Arcturus knew about it, or maybe Arcturus knew it since his son owns them.

Skylair Narud/Duran is a Xel'Naga, Amon serveant. Narud want to make the hybrids and destroy the universe. And true fact, Valerian knowed very, very little what Narud was doing. And Jim Raynor and all his crew believed that Mengsk is that who are creating them, but in fact, Mengsk didn't know about hybrids.

Build missiles turrets and bunkers at the start, you loses too many units just to defend. You forgot to build Science Vessels to heal your medivac. Buy the Murader's stun upgrade.

this may be a minor spoiler but since the hybrids are created by Mobieus Corp, and Raynor is selling this stuff to the Moebius Corp, isn't he indirectly supporting the hybrid project? Also, he got these relics and zerg samples from the Moebius research facility that he just torched... so isn't it kinda like a thief selling his loot back to the original owner... I am picturing Narud thinking "you F**king piece of s**t" as he buys up these samples

BIG ONES! ) yes in paper mobius corp beliving they using james raynor but in reality thanks to their hard core luck by mistake actually raynor using them... with help of artifacts they gonna make kerrigan free from zerg DNA instead of killing her makes her even more dangerius aganist amon and his minions Because everyone was expecting him to kill kerrigan but thanks to good guy zerathul he knew that they need that she must survive :) so search of zerathul actually achived a lot

I love it, an easy mission becomes a great struggle xD All you had to do was follow the mercenary Terran's position to find the way. Also even though no dialogue talk section appears for Tychus. If you talked to him he would've quoted "I don't even want to talk about what you saw down there." You should talk to the crew's excluding Stetmann as they all have unique dialogue, by crew meaning Swann, Tychus, Horner. They give their thoughts on what happened in the mission.

Lowko those building that created choke point you mentioned when you try to slow push toward the last objective are high ground you can put tank on them. That why they put those refugee marine & Goliath for you to pick up to let you know that you can put your army on those building. Campaign maps are designed to have a lot of those things you need to pay attention to the hints the game gave you. i know you finish the mission at the end just it will make your life a lot easier followed those hints and 1 or 2 bunker also help a lot :). You have a tendency to miss things when it come to campaign mission :). By the way i am your fan.

You can use the mules to rescue the units if you can't reach them via medivac and they're about to die. You can use this trick in the next mission

my research is as follows: Zerg = fortified bunker, perdition turret, Hercules, cellular reactor, psi disruptor Protoss = Ultra-Capacitors, Micro-Filtering, Automated Refinery, Science vessel, and Tech Reactor these are really nice and if you just turtle up and macro until you have a huge ball of units you can then wipe the board clean with.

Two words: high ground. You can drop on the roofs for almost any building on that map and seige up and be nearly untouchable. Campaign missions are more often about using fewer units smartly than about massing fast and overwhelming like in multiplayer. Campaigns can sometimes throw 3 or more opponents worth of units at you while you still have a standard unit limit. Look for anything that makes the fight unfair in your favor. Good call floating off when your base dried up. Science vessels to keep your medivacs fixed wouldn't hurt in later missions.

The fun of the campaign is tailoring your unit composition. Please don't forget the choices you made! You chose the Sci vessel because of the repair but lost so many medivacs. You chose bunker buffs and turrets and tank buffs but lost your base to ling/roach/muta. You have access to superior units at the merc compound but didn't access them.

Try reading the "Wings of Liberty" SC Book :D Will help you learn a lot about the story behind Sc2 :D And that cinematic has 2 main points: Kerrigan hates Mengs and wants to kill him, she thinks Jim is responsible and wants to kill him :D

Actually the main reason Lowko derped around last mission was that he lost almost all units by 1A at the beginning of the mission and he just refused to rollback to the begining. With that small army, that micro was quite good. What I found most WTF was at the reinforcement bay, Lowko had Raynor and maybe 1 more marine? And a bunch of medics. By Lowgic, he decided to ask for 3 marines + 3 medics.

What's the point of buying mercs if you barely ever use them? They are most efficient in missions like this one, where you can't spend too much resources.

In theory they are useful, but in practice you have to wait 6-7 minutes for them and you can't get many of them, so you'll probably forget about them most of the time. Fortunately, there are only a small number of armory upgrades you really need so you'll probably be wasting most of your credits anyway.

Lowko your hatred of static defense continues to upset me. I recommend prioritizing those last two base upgrades as you'll need them for the final mission. Don't bother with the medivac upgrades, like Diamondbacks they are worthless after their debut mission.

Hey I really like you're play through of this game Lowko. I do have two points: I don't like that you don't give your video's titles that make it clear it's from the single player play through and that they aren't numbered. I always have to take the time to make sure I didn't miss any video. Just put something like sc2 campain ep4 in the title. And the second one isn't really a complaint it's also one of the things that makes me come back: I almost physically hurts me when you don't see the stuff right in the middle of your screen XD I'd say listen to the audio que's. The single player has them a lot.

This mission is the only good use for the Hercules transport and it really shines. Two of them hold your entire army and are too tough to lose to spores or mutas. Slow pushing with siege tanks on the rooftops is the best way to do all objectives and achievements easily with plenty of time left over.

This should be renamed "how to NOT play the "Moebius Factor" mission". Highground, static defence, carefull navigation, no "head on" moves. It's a VERY easy mission, that can be done with any type of army - bio, mecha, air, done that all, with or without Hercules transports.

I did this by using Hercules' to drop Siege Tanks and Goliaths wherever I needed them. Sometimes literally as I relied pretty heavily on the units survive past the Hercules' destruction bits.

Ouch. I found this to be the easiest mission, because if you path your medics right you can drop marines and kill 1 or 2 spores, and get past to 2nd & bonus drop zones without getting hit.

Lowko, Mengsk isn't the one creating Hybrids. It's Moebius. Moebius *was* however, a Dominion-funded research group. Emphasis on *was*. The Hybrid weren't created by Mengsk, though he likely does know about them just not fully. Moebius created them. It's likely all he was told was "We're creating a super-weapon". The details on these kinds of things can be omitted w/o worry right up until the - in this case Emperor - asks for them. And it's entirely possible Mengsk doesn't know at all as well. The only info they get is from reports and inspections, and it's child's play to omit things from a report, and not too difficult to hide things from an inspection.

the hybrid were made by the moebius foundation under narud. moebius fundation is owned by valerian mengsk. however he didn't know about the hybrids, only arcturus mengsk does. arcturus ordered/allowed the creation of hybrids in hopes that they would destroy kerrigan

What you have to improve, buddy, is how to build static defenses. Trust me, when you play campaign, a handful of those things in your base wouldn't hurt, at all.

I'm not sure whether or not Mengsk even knew about the Hybrid. Either way his plans were being heavily manipulated by someone else who took advantage of his fear of Kerrigan.

And then the Brood Wars came by soon enough... Mengsk...ya dun goofed. EDIT: Getting the Hercules over the Predator slaps half of this mission's challenge (getting through anti-air zones) over a giant knee since the Hercules is more durable than a medevac, deploys troops almost instantly, and even if it's destroyed, you don't lose the units inside unless they're already badly injured.
