i don't think this is "so dirty". People say zerg is OP all the time - maybe macro wise - but looking at it, both terran and protoss have abilities that CAN counter it =) amazing

That execution was nearly perfection, not sure what he could have done better, and dang lucky/skilled pylon placement! Almost ANYWHERE else and that pylon is found, delaying the arrival of the DTs and making the rush much clumsier/delayed.

Taking down the lair compared to just a hatch is big. The cost of a hatch + lair upgrade + lost mining time = a while lot of trouble for Rogue

Lowko look up Katusa, then click on the mandatory military service. I did 2 tours in South Korea. I worked with both the ROK Army and the Katusa Army.

i'm sad when i watch this match. i loved classic gameplay after watching him play against Maru in GSL CS season 1. tenacious gameplay, never give up, late game protoss, not afraid to cheese n etc...... but now...he will be going to his military service for 2 years....gotta say....im sad that i wont be able to watch his matches anymore. after killing the lair he could have jumped on the spores of the remaining bases and sniped them then there would have been no detection

But an overseer could have arrived at any moment, if he went for the spores and got caught by the army he would have lost the DTs and the 4 archons they produced later on, making his final push impossible

Very difficult strat to do. May work in late game. Dark shrine takes too long to build. If you do go for Dark shrine, you must hide it. Not great against terran, due to widow mine/scan defense. Zerg... banelings + spores. Against Protoss, 1 cannon, 1 shield battery. hold.

You mean LOTV? Similar, but different. In LOTV the nerazim faction DTs have an ability called shadow strike, which makes them jump between enemies 8 times dealing 40 damage a hit. This version, shadow stride, is literally just blink.

There was nothing dirty about this match. A infestation was properly handled in the early stages. People let Zerg snowball out of control, and then sound surprised when they get overrun. It is about time the queen build time is increased. There is no downside to building as many queens as possible all the way to late game.
