The movie is the first place that the combination of them was used, even though its constituent parts pre-existed. I think "in the pipe" is from "in the pipeline," meaning that something is under way or about to be completed.

Man, Byun had a couple hard games since coming back from his military service but for the past couple months, he's been showing some really nice StarCraft! It feels like he relies less on overwhelmingly overpowered superhuman micro and now adds a side dish of strategy and tactical positioning and maneuvering to his play style. Of course, to get where he is, he already did have those but he's really improved on them. Micro Jackson was really nice to watch but General ByuN is a marvel to witness.

slowing and speed up circles just affect the propulsion method of whatever unit moves through them either giving marines foot pains to slow them down or pumping reaper jetpacks full of nos to speed them up

Lowko's got a good system with those intros of his. He's made the resource of his intros more scarce so since there is high demand the scarcity means people are more likely to pay full price (like/subscribe) for it.

From a programmer's perspective: the flames are particles, that means the slower the reaper goes, the less the particles travel until they fade out. So I presume it's just a visual side effect.

I would wish for 2 balance changes for Protoss: 1) Shield Batteries should start with no/less Energy when build outside the Nexus range (to stop the cheese on the ladder) 2) The speed upgrades for the Observer and the Warp Prism should be merged into a single one (with maybe slightly higher cost and/or build time) Okay, and maybe reduce the Zealot Charge cooldown a little.

Things would still float upwards at 2000 atmospheric pressure, I assume. Buoyancy is basically water pushing you upward because the water you displace is heavier than you. As you go deeper the water is denser and.. something about the water above you applying more pressure. In any event if you float in water at the surface, you probably float underneath.

I think if all the air gets crushed out of you by the pressure you wouldn't float any more. Even the air might get absorbed by the surrounding water (although I'm not sure how water pressure affects the absorption of gases).

I don't know the lore behind the slowing zones, but if these zones would decrease light speed without the need of high gravity, it would appear like they are slowing down from an outside perspective (rtheory of relativity) but the required thrust and everything else would stay the same.

about that headphone thingy, i think this is quite possible. My ulnar nerve is jumping out my elbow every now and then (due to overburden with working and playing too much on the PC) and it is quite creepy, i first get a ticklish feeling that results in loosing any feeling in my ring finger and pinky (which fingers depends on the nerves , ulnar or elbow for outside part of hand, carapal or median for thumb to middle finger) and you really can not feel shit when that happens ... quite annoying when driving, especially when you are driving on the left side and can not rest your right arm to unload the pressure on that nerve (just on a personal note here, i got myself a vertical mouse and a more apropriate desk height now and never had issues on the PC at last since then)
