In this week's mutation mission we have to deal with splash damage, and lots of it. Because of the "Power Overwhelming" Mutator, all enemy units have energy and use random abilities. A lot of Vortexes, Psionic Storms, Hunter Seeker Missiles and lots more will go off constantly.
I decide to play with Nova, as her units are very powerful and difficult to spot. Initially my ally goes for Vorazun, but he quickly switches over to Alarak instead.
Merely destroying a planet isn't enough for Amon. He has also imbued his forces with raw power, allowing them to wield incredible abilities against you. Even Amon's structures strike at you with conviction. Withstand the onslaught and save Veridia Prime.

Finally that unit is any good :-D. The most scary part though is, that Hatchery becomes the best defensive building in the game, thanks Larvae casting storms, and other stuff like this :-D.

I actually agree. No cooldowns, and it actually costs less resources to bring her back than to buy Marines? It's definitely cheaper to revive her than any of her units.

The problem is that Lowko is not good in using heroes I saw it earlier with Kerrigan, it's so sad because Nova have such powerful abilities, for example sabotage drone is also powerful for defending, you just must time it correctly, killing stuff without engaging it and it can also provide vision for nuke strike. I always scream here "Lowko you idiot, use that f**king ability OMG if I could jump to game and take that hero from your hands" :D

in case you didn't know, Lowko, Lockdown Missiles only work on Mechanical flying units. against Zerg enemies they're a waste of gas and minerals. instant travel abilities (for eg. nydus) doesn't work on workers carrying crystals, like the others are saying

I stopped playing SC for a long time now.. and with my medications (chronic pain), I dont think Ill ever be able to focus as much as you do. But I found these videos the other day and I find you very enjoyable to watch. +1 sub :D lol

I didn't expect people to find this difficult after I did it. I played Alarak and my teammate Artanis against Terran air. Did it in one try. Most annoying thing was probably enemy units casting vortex

+LowkoTV I played this mission with my m8 yesterday on Brutal. We finished it in 3 attempts :) I am happy! I rarely played SC2 at all. I played like 10-20 ranked games and got Gold many seasons back when Day[9] still had his Day[9] dailys series going. My m8 never played competative SC2 either :) We played Artanis and Zigara

Nova and Swann best team for this, whenever the enemy attacks just use the airstrike or swanns abilities. Get the laser drill upgrades early on and make Nova clear areas while Swann turtles with goliaths and thors. Easily able to take the bonus objective too with his hercules transport, having at least 2 helps a lot when u need to move back and forth when nova doesnt have tactical lift

Artanis is super good for this one. Did it without too much struggle on the first try, vs Protoss. Granted I'm max level. But being able to warp in reinforcements anywhere, along with Guardian Shell makes him super good. Nova seems pretty good too though, since she calls down units and has a pretty sturdy army. I'll bet you could've flown down and grabbed the bonus objective before that last crystal though :P Also, I haven't tried it but I imagine the Ghost's EMP ability is probably perfect for this mutation.

On this Map i try to wipe out the western upper enemy base asap, so they need a longer way to attack you so you have more time to react. And you have a way to the left faster.

Lowko I am a low gold player who hasnt played for a while but used to play with 2 other buddies on the 3v3 ladder using a composition of double zerg and single terran with the terran only building medivacs(can heal zerg as well) and air while we go pure hydra/lurker and all in on like 2-3 bases. Being one of the great players i've been following do you think this is viable ? and what do you think could be made to make it better? Would really appreciate your help on this. Thanks.

sharang pai hi there sharang!! I am a diamond/master 4v4 and my advice to you would be is don't follow the same plan all the time. Terran units such as the Marines or sieges or good with the medivac! have the Terran go behind mineral lines and sniper workers, the enemy will be forced to bring their army back and then use zerg as a frontal push. nonetheless hydra/lurker only is not the best combination. I would say go for hydra/roach/bane. a Terran should not be only making medivacs since medivacs do support a more bigger purpose than just healing. widow mines are also perfect for terran. zerg air can be used to harass as well. nydus worms are also a very effective method! never go just one full unit such as hydra or medivacs or lurkers. it can be countered very easily! hope this helps and lmk if I can help you with anything else!

I did it with Artanis and it worked very well. I didn't use High Templar and Feedback though, I just relied on a sturdy ground army and Guardian Shell.

Artanis feedback does not work here on regular units with mutation energy. Feedback works only on units which have energy on regular basis, ravens, sentries etc.

I won this on my second attempt with Vorazun after my opponent left at 14/20 crystals. Vorazun DTs are OP, they wipe out any ground army with their ability while it is trapped in wormhole, so they don't cast any abilities.

karax is super good in this scenario. build D cant be hurt by spells and karax spells at lvl 3 is super useful to spam.

what? this week's mutation was super easy. i did it as vorazun and a zagara partner. dt's and corsairs, but build more corsairs than dt's. everything see's through cloak. zagara is great for this because suicide army is easy to replace.
