at this point i think replacing mutalisks with scourges would be one hell of a buff for zerg.. it's rare to see mutalisks achieve anything more than a short period of successfull harassment.. and with short period i talk about 3minutes game time. and i guess it forces the enemy to assimilate his strategy a bit

Suggestion about stuff to talk about in the first minutes of a game: -the colour of your socks -how much hair Milo leaves on your sofa -the weather -the size of your feet -the last thing you ate -eventually might talk about what Milo eats since we're talking food -Mc donald's, Wendy's or Burger King ? -if you like waffles and why, how do you eat them and what you put on them Actually I'm too lazy to keep up. The most sensible argument i heard is that putting the tech lab on the starport is too wasteful. But then if you go banshee anyway... ?

Cereal before milk 😆 Duhuh!!! You pick how much cereal you want first, then you add enough milk to make it work. It's much harder to know how much milk you're gonna need, and then put in the cereal. Because if you used too much milk, you're either drowning your cereal or you'll have to add cereal that you won't be able to eat 😝

First match was beautiful, relentless and so good to watch! And last match on creep spreads, well, even tho he lost TONS of medivac with marines and widow mines inside, he played this so beautifully. Amazing games by heromarine.

Actually quite a strong TvZ opener with BCs that I've been using is a BC with helbat push, where you delay the 3rd CC a little to maximize the helbat count then so the armory finishes as soon as the BC has teleports across the map inbetween the natural and the third. You then waltz into the natural and try and kill as many drones and maybe even the base, when the queens show themselves, dive ontop of them with the hellions and transform them into helbats ontop of the queens. If you're above diamond 2 then perhaps proxying the fusion core and the armory so the zerg don't scout it. Often times I can beat zerg right then and there because they have less than 10 queens. You could probably do a variant of this where you go triple CC with this, but everything else would be delayed, and the helbat count would be lower.

43:00 I think when you make small changes at the high level, it can have a significant impact. Those players are so dialed in they get the absolute most out of their units, so even a tiny nerf is huge. For players like me, there's so much slop in our play it really doesn't make much of a difference.

As soon as you see terran get building armor and start producing extra orbitals. You know you're done for. Honestly, I don't see why neosteel armor isn't researched more often. It takes planetary up from 3 to 5 armor taking Zergling damage from 5 down to 3 which is a 40% damage reduction. Maybe not as good vs lurker or hydra pushes but it just makes their base defense that much stronger.

So I don't play SC2 ladder but it seems like banelings are supposed to counter marines but terrans have gotten so good at countering banes with marines that you need luck or an error on the other players part to get a good connection. Marauders are, according to liquipedia, also supposed to counter banes. The Hydra is good but it gets countered by siege tank and a bunch of marines. With medivac support, marine survivability is insane. So marine marauder medivac siege tank/widow mine can be used pretty much all game by the terran while zerg has to tech up to a bunch of casters and micro the hell out of a bunch of different glass cannon units. I feel like with how good terrans have become, you revert some of the zerg nerfs and it gets fair again. If zerg can't spread creep as efficiently, they can't defend their hatcheries as efficiently, which decreases their production, as the hatches are all that can produce units. At the same time, terran builds more production and zergs the zerg. I feel like protoss hasn't completely found its footing. It alternates between hyper aggression and turtling, with skytoss+HT and maybe immortal deathball, which is quite hard to micro and isn't easy to counter but costs a lot. tldr; Complaining about sc2 strategy and balance even though I don't ladder.

For example, with the latest balance patch, we see a lot of x happening now. It used to be countered by y... Or just tick off rookie mistakes that are typical. Yeah, I know, not as fun as a topic as one's favorite soup, but I know Lowko YOU can turn ANY Starcraft topic into a fun and interesting moment, if only to shred bronze hero to pieces :) ( for what it is worth, I have unlocked the copper ladder, the one below bronze 😉 )

Oh wow, one time i can tell Lowko something. :) I'm not sure if that indicates that Reynor doesn't feel as comfortable anymore with terran, but he did ask Harstem and Lambo to play against him in Archon mode so he gets some more training. Harstem casted one of them where they won, maybe you can ask him for one where Reynor won? Would be great to see imho. :)
