The units in the nydus are slightly younger then the units out the nydus because of time dilation. The units inside the worm travel close to the speed of light means they experience time differently than the units on the outside

What Florencio is doing here is basically glitching. He's not glitching the game. He's glitching his opponent. He's glitching his soul. When he does enough insane plays and is successful with them, the opponent's mind breaks down. None of his learned behaviors work, none of his training matters. It's like playing chess and the enemy's bishop starts moving straight.
