Hopefully you guys enjoy, I was focused here not on just casting the matches (I think Tasteless and Artosis did a pretty great job of that) but instead focused on going beyond just the play by play. Timestamps for each game below! (Spoiler Warning!) 0:00 Game 1 - Newkirk Precinct 23:50 Game 2 - Proxima Station 45:00 Game 3 - Abyssal Reef 1:25:15 Game 4 - Paladino Terminal 1:34:00 Game 5 - Bel'Shir Vestige 1:48:20 Game 6 - Honorgrounds 2:14:00 Game 7 - Cactus Valley

those two clowns have nothing on you. I am serious. I literally mute them when they talk. I'd much rather watch you analyze paint drying, than them describing a game.

Dude, the only damn reason that you don't have hundreds and thousands of subs more is probably not many people play starcraft. You're like the best starcraft commentator I know, this is damn awesome. Thanks!

he is the best commentator man, leagues better than LowkoTV

Live stream commentators are great because its live. WinterSC is great because he breaks it down and does analysis.

A very interesting and palatable commentary, thanks a lot Winter

I like Winter commenting style so fucking much more then those official commentators, who bubble up fake emotions non stop. His analysis and showing player thought process.. and all in calm voice, gush
@nikowardenski80447 жыл бұрын
Casters dont have the time to really analyze everything while the game is going on. As in soccer the analysis happens after the games and is prepared while the game is still running.

I think the commentators are fantastic to be honest. I would have no clue how to be like that while looking at a video game, and same could be said about 99% of people I'd say, how do you even do that? Still, I do love these commentaries
@visceraljourney7 жыл бұрын
I am glad you enjoy them. I just dont. I understand that they need to put on a show and so forth, but I just prefer Winter commenting style a hell of a lot more.

Thank you for the sentry explanation. I’ve been playing for awhile and never took the time to understand specific unit abilities. A video explaining all units abilities would be an extremely helpful tool for players who only play one race. I recently have been watching your videos and enjoy every second of them thank you!

Damn dude, you're the best streamer I've seen. The first vid i watched happened to have bad audio quality or something and I didn't quite get your humor so thought you were complaining... so I ignored you for months until I watched a few cheese hours and... damn dude. You've got solid play and are pretty chill -- You've got all the little quality of life overlays and just have the stream itself setup nicely. Makes me want to get back into streaming! Keep it up, W.

Very high value material. Haven't found this level of analysis anywhere else. A few things have changed, but the majority is still relevant 16 months later.

Winter, i gathered the courage to finally try starcraft about 3 1/2 weeks ago. Started out dabbling in the campaign and then played vs A.I. for a week straight while i scoured forums and youtube. Shortly i came upon your channel and after binge watching your videos i finally jumped in to ranked. I'm Gold 2 (still not high and i sit with the majority of players but i have a pretty positive win-rate with TvT really only thing lacking) and climbing as Terran and everything i know is partially from experience and mostly from watching your content. So thanks.

Why have protoss players stopped going for the double robo production? I guess maybe you can get more units from the gateways, but isnt the backbone of the army the tech units? even doing like 1 colossus and 1 immortal production to even more deal with the ground, then just some meat shields and stalkers vs the vikings. And yeah its a big commitment early on and reduces your map presence early on, but couldnt that be helped by say a mid game transition into the double robo? after doing some sort of a pressure play. *Edit* In game 1 stats goes for it at 12:30, why not try something like 9:00?

I'd like to see Blizzard give you a choice of where to put the add on in SC3 (48:01) or just make the addon a vertical add-on, like a loft.

I'm learning how to play so I'd rather watch this kind of commentary and not the live and emotional one. I don't even find StarCraft gameplay that much exciting (at least for epic commentary) compared to other games like dota or csgo, but it is indeed a much harder and skillful game. It's really enjoyable to watch the best players beating each other.

Hey, Winter! Nice comments! :) I wish you gave a bit more details and tips during these casts! :P Anyways, my question is: what happened to all the TYTY vikings when they were landed in the 1st game? What killed them so quickly? The protoss army was not there so I relapsed a couple of times and could not get it.

@FerocLPs7 жыл бұрын
Protoss did not always loose
@chrisbennett45647 жыл бұрын
At this time Protoss was dealing with some issues as all of the staple builds at the time just were not working anymore. Thus to win players had to try new things and in trying those new things they were exicuting them less well as they had practiced them less this led to protoss having amonth or two of a slump but they are bringing it back this sort of thing happens all the time.
