Kerrigan Is still, basically , a goddess she comes and takes Raynor with her and go around fixing those barren planets. And Raynor earns the title Goddess banger.

One correction, it isn't Kerrigan who fixes those barren planets, but Zagara. If I remember the Starcraft lore correctly, Zagara found a way to use whatever hybrids remained or something along those lines, and had them altered so that they could be stationed on barren planets, and while they were stationed there, their latent psionic powers infused the planets with life.

Kerrigan gave Zagarra Xelnaga essence to make a finite amount of sleeping zerg that are part zerg and part xelnaga. The book is called Starcraft: Evolution. Its a FANTASTIC book and I would highly recommend.

I enjoyed the part where it explores Artanis' feelings regarding Kerrigan being the one to ascen as Xel'Naga and not them. It really opens up new story telling for any new sequel and hopefully will return to a more Brood War esque story telling where everyone has their own agenda.

Well what she said before the "two years later" was that she didn't care for the infinite cycle and the Xel'Naga. My guess is that she destroyed herself to destroy the last Xel'Naga and Amon.

1. Kerrigan is Xel'Naga now, she can take any form she want, just like Narud previously. Raynor probably ran off with her and they took up creating new life in the galaxy. 2. Don't know how they would like to create another Starcraft if one of their characters has god's like powers now and just slew last opponent that could threaten her. 3. I'm pretty sure there are rules to being a Xel'Naga. If those don't apply anymore cuz Kerrigan, then just have an interdimensional invasion occur where the leaders are godlike beings equivalent to the Xel'Naga, leading powerful armies that can threaten all three factions. Might be an interesting way to add a 4th faction in SC3 if they are so inclined.

My theory about ending is, that Kerrigan required 2 years to recover after defeating Amon and clearing out the void. Maybe she also required this time to spawn life on barren worlds. After she was done, she returned to Jim in form, when they first met and fell in love. And then maybe Jim also ascended with her help and both went on long awaited retirement. Maybe life on barren worlds is their xel'nagian offspring ;) They're obviously after "marriage", then can "hold hands" now :D P.S. Starcraft (is badass) :D

Jim can't be Xel'naga bcs he needs essence. Thats why Ouros died when he gave his essence to kerrigan. Also Kerrigan was the last xel'naga so he couldnt have gotten essence from antoher Xel'Naga. thats what i think.

Nope in the novels, it's called Adostra created by Abathur and Zagara. Kerrigan told them of a species that can hold Xel'Naga biomass. The only thing that's most likely is that because Kerrigan is a Xel'Naga, like Amon and Narud they will need a host body to enter the universe. It took Amon and Narud years to create a proper host body. So it's most likely that it took Kerrigan two years to re-build her human-ghost host body. Or it might've been even Valerian who made her host body just in secret.

@Niels Kerrigan told, that she's breaking the cycle in a way. Also nature will find it's way. So Kerrigan might have done something, that was thought impossible. I think Jim stopped being human after going with her, at least in anatomical way. At this point it's pure speculation, unless there's SC3 or new novel, that would tell us this story.

Kevkos Well Jim can't be a Xel'Naga because of essence and form (human are none of those puritys and Sarah was an exceptional being to begin with so maybe other Ghots can overcome this to if they transform like Kerrigan in Zerus but even amongst Ghots Kerrigan was exceptional)

I didn't say, he became Xel'Naga for 100%. Maybe Kerrigan just took his essence or soul and transformed into being, that can "live" with her. Being, that definitely is not human. Maybe it's xel'naga, maybe something else. Only Blizz will tell, if there's any continuation to this story. And remember, that Kerrigan decided to break from cycle and continue on her own terms.

Starcraft is badass. The whole series since sc1 with you was amazing! Thanks for doing all these Videos its been something I looked forward to all the time. Im exited for whatever may come next. ^^ And for the ending: My guess is that Kerrigan send Jim away in the cutscene, defeated amon, and used her power to make up for everything she did and then finally gave up her power. With that she broke the infinite cycle since there are no more Xelnaga and also set lose a ton load of energie which resulted in dead planets growing new plants n stuff. In her original form Kerrigan finally found Jim two years later. (either it took a bunch of time making everything right or she searched for Jim for quite long - or both) and basically settled down with him somewhere in the nowhere.

The planet regrowth thing is actually the main storyline in the novel Starcraft: Evolution. I'd recommend anyone who's into Starcraft lore to read it. It's the official cannon of what happened after LotV events.

If you're really wanting more starcraft to play, there were two mission packs made by third party developers that came out for starcraft 1 called Insurrection and Retribution. They were licensed by blizzard and everything. They're not exactly quality and blizzards prefers to pretend they didn't exist but they're out there if you're looking to play through something relatively unknown. I've never managed to find any copies of them myself so I'd watch it if you did a play through of them.

Insurrection is super funny at times due to the wonky voice acting, but the story (despite its single-planet scope) is rather good! The maps kinda suck though - overly big and empty, and there are often shittons of missile turrets required to be destroyed for mission objectives.

Raynor's fate is deliberately left vague. His line of dialogue is a callback to the first Wings of Liberty Cinematic and the door opening behind him is a callback to the third. Plus plenty of lines from that chapter as well. Kerrigan had already appeared to him in her human image right after she ascended so it's likely she was still Xel'Naga(assuming it wasn't all a hallucination). I feel it's implied that she spent a couple years planting new life on planets in the sector and then came to pick up her boyfriend. It doesn't sound like Blizzard plans for either of them to make another appearance in-story.

Barcraft is stadass. After over 100 episodes, Amon finally clues into the foolproof way to destroy the Terrans, Protoss and Zerg... Eat their mins. gg no re. After such a conclusive ending, I rather doubt we'll see a Starcraft 3, at least not in a format close to the first two games. Perhaps a 'Galaxy of Starcraft' or another genre change attempt like the original Nova game, but it now feels like the RTS formula has become a confinement for story missions. Happy to be proven wrong.

WhiteFangofWhoa I think there's a lot of possibilities for Starcraft 3. Terran and Protoss both have an "antagonist faction" (UED and Tal'Darim) that could spark conflict. There's no way the Swarm will keep quiet for long. Even the Dominion and Daelaam could end up in conflict. Borders clash, there's diplomatic tension, warmongering factions. Some Terrans start mining an asteroid belt that was formerly Shakuras. The Daelaam get pissed off because of what Shakuras meant and the sacrifice that happened there. Valerian and Artanis want to work it out and if it was just them, they probably could, but they have to speak for their people. A lot of Protoss demand blood for desecrating the ruins of Shakuras but Valerian will refuse. Protoss take action, miners are killed, Valerian is pressured into declaring war on the Daelaam. Hey, maybe it was even Tal'Darim disguised as Daelaam who killed the miners, engineering the war. And plenty of options for civil war too. The Protoss underwent a ton of change in very short amount of time, all for the sake of defeating Amon. Now that Amon is gone, can they maintain that change? Will we see a new generation of Protoss who seek to restart the Khala now that there is no danger? Will templar begin to question the abolition of the caste system? And for Zerg, how long can Zagara maintain the loyalty of Dehaka, or Stukov? Where does Stukov factor into things? There's a ton of potential for a continued storyline, and one that's more in line with SC1's morally grey faction conflict than SC2's crusade against a big super enemy.

I don't doubt that there's a great deal of potential for a renewed conflict or intrigue. The Hybrid still exist, and now must decide what they want to do without their master. Kerrigan's divine seeding of life all across the sector to replace what was destroyed may lead to mutation and the emergence of new races. And we never did get a conclusive explanation about why the UED scientist Doran Routhe decided to send the 60 million Terrans with the highest psionic potential out into deep space (SC1 Terran background). I just don't see a way to get people seriously interested in a sequel. There is no way to raise the stakes higher than they were in SC2, and short of a radical change in structure like Warcraft 3 did, there's not much you can do to make it not feel like a carbon copy of SC2's still-popular multiplayer.

Personally, I would prefer a shift back to the style of SC1, making it more of a 40K-style "factions eternally at war" plot than SC2's "Save the galaxy" style plot. So to me, failing to raise the stakes would actually be a good thing. I do agree with you on multiplayer, though. A big part of what made SC2 so appealing when it first came out is that with every year, BW's mechanical quirks and limitations made it more and more inaccessible to those outside of the diehard fanbase (although, to be fair, BW's diehard fanbase was larger than the casual fanbase for most other RTS games). SC2 doesn't really seem to be having those issues. That being said, I do think they could raise the stakes. I would hate it, it would be awful, but they could do it. I can already picture the trailer in my mind. [It is dark. The only source of light comes from the searchlight on a Terran ship, scanning an asteroid belt. We go in for a close-up as the light falls on one small asteroid that has become a black, roiling mass. In its centre is a crystal. Fade to black] [Interior: Lab. The camera is centered on the crystal, now in a containment unit, being prodded at with different tools] STETTMANN: I don't understand. It, ah, it seems to be a fragment of a void shard, from the end war, sir. But it looks - it looks like it was designed to spread the Void. HORNER: You mean Amon was trying to bring the Void to us? [Cut to sequence of Terran soldiers preparing for war] [Voiceover] VALERIAN: We always thought Amon was trying to destroy our galaxy. What if we were wrong? What if he wasn't trying to destroy it at all? What if he was trying to turn it into the Void? Turn it into somewhere he could... escape to? [Voiceover] HORNER: But what could make a god run away? What could Amon have been afraid of? [Cut to closeup of Valerian] VALERIAN: I don't know. And that scares me most of all. [Loud, low brass explodes as shots of Terran, Zerg, and Protoss forces fighting are rapidly cut together] [Voiceover] ARTANIS: We thought that we had weathered the storm. [Shot of a horde of Zerglings rampaging into a wall of Zealots] [Voiceover] ARTANIS: We thought that we had forged a unity that could not be broken. We don't need another franchise that feels the need to put out a new sequel every 1-2 years regardless of quality.

Lowko man, i just saw u play legacy of the void in ur first time playing it and see your gameplay for some time i guess (2 years at least. I don't remember well) and then i just started to see any video that u uploaded. Then i could't see the videos cause i didin't have time, but i saw every single one of the Starcraft campaing video until today. NA sadly it doesn't matters even though pretending it does is good PR. The problem with solo RTS is the monetization compare to mobile , moba ect is not as toxic/profitable so compare to those practice there is not enough money to make. So no starcraft 3 in the near future . Maybe if governement just bash this toxic monetization maybe we will see good game rise again in the mean time we got funny and profitable game.

Hey Lowko, First of all Thank you so much for running this entire play through all the way from the beginning! Watching you play caused me to have so many emotions flow out. Laughing at some points and literally screaming at my monitor telling you look at your mini map as your lowko blindness got the best of you. :D You mentioned that you were looking for some suggestions for some future RTS playthoughs. I don't know why I didn't think of this before, Homeworld! You can play starting from Deserts of Kharak through the Remastered Homeworld and Homeworld 2 campaigns. The story is Amazing and the game play can be very difficult I think you would like it. I hope you at least give it a look!

I believe Kerrigan did come back for Jim, I don't believe he was hallucinating and Jim had nothing left in that life anymore so I don't believe Kerrigan would leave him there.I'm glad Kerrigan came back to get him after doing what she needed to do for 2 years. After going through Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm, I always hoped that Jim would get a good and happy ending, so what I take away from Legacy of the Voids ending is that Jim and Kerrigan Left together and are finally happy. No war, nothing keeping them from each other, no dark god wanting to destroy everything. Just the two of them finally together

I feel when SC1 was first made, a romance theme with Jim and Kerrigan wasnt really the plan but in SC2 they retconned the entire story to arc and revolve around it.

Shane McCausland I personally prefer it that way, even though I wish they did something different than the whole battle of the gods storyline, it was Diablo's thing then went into WoW, and SC2 followed. I can't see what Diablo's end will be like, WoW is just all over the place, so I'm glad in SC2 you get a happyish ending.

Yes but his first run isn't that great since A)He was stuck in his PVP mindset until his Hots run (remember the base trade against the A.I in the Mobious Evacuation mission in WoL run and how the comments had to keep screaming at him to get defense upgrades) B)He didn't know character motivations well C)His run had some launch bugs like how mission 4 takes too long since it was built for Banshee's and Goliaths but you couldn't actually make the things when the mission came out D)He'll remember the plot better going on since he can play them back to back instead of having months between them E)The comments can fill him in on some lore discovered since then like how a certain someone in it might be Raynor's son.

It was amazing Lowko! I really enjoyed this run of the full francise. It was cool watching how you discovered the whole story and the lore behind it. Btw some observation you made during the playthrough were really on point. And about Raynor and Kerrigan, their character arcs are done, so there was no reason to keep them "alive"(I'm not saying they're dead though), they're just gone(at least that's the easy way to see it :3 ).

Sc3 story theory: Stukov leaves the swarm to find his own way in the universe. Kerrigan and Raynor skip around the galaxy making life. Something as dark as Amon comes from outside our galaxy. Starcraft is the most bad ass. I think i watched every episode.

@@limeangelo6019 Sadly it's now ACTIVISION-blizzard so classical solo RTS can't have stupid cosmetic dlc and ingame transaction so it's not on their to do list right now. (Man just look at the last mission nova where you pay for each 3 mission xD)
