My theory is: the game checks whether all of the train cars have reached the checkpoint. By doing stasis on the train, you somehow messed up that sequel (the 3rd car is on the 4th car after having been made stasis), so what the game saw is that only 7/8 cars have reached the checkpoint and, as an anti-bug measure (to prevent the mission from stopping progressing forever), it automatically assumed that one of the cars had been destroyed, and thus made the whole train go boom.

I think the train just have timed lifetime - some timer for each train - so in case of glitch it'll not stuck on rails in the middle of the map forever. The lifetime is picked so that train will go fully off screen and then will be removed by timer. That's possible because trains have constant speed. All abilities affecting time were considered and pausing that timer (e.g. timestop) but some engineer forgot to consider stasis - as it's not affecting time, but affecting speed.

It's actually been known for a long time. But it's ridiculously hard to execute. I've done it about a few times in brutal+ but it's often not worth the effort as you are basically useless for the first 9 minutes.

It is highly recommended to use Karax p1 or p3 along with mengsk p1 or tychus p2 etc for this week. Karax p3 with phoneix can control the rifts + base def whilst mengsk p1 and tychus p2 can support whilst handling the offense side

Didn't know that it was treated as the hardest mutation. Beat it on the second try, initially used Dehaka P3 and lost, but noticed that it was easier with P1 Karax. Had a random Tychus as teammate and beat it.

i actually soloed this mutation with artanis. My ally just left after the first attack so i played on with dragoon immortal army to easily destroy the armored trains oh and i cannoned up all the highgrounds to defend the void reanimators

This one was tricky, I think it took me like 5 or 6 tries with a friend. We completed it with Karax/Zeratul, and it almost got completely out of control at the end.

9:15 The fixer problem. You pay a large amount to the best mercenary in the industry to take out the trains. That guy pockets half of the money and uses the rest to hire someone else. That guy also pockets half of the money and hires Hill. Hill pockets half of that money and then hires Lowko and CtG.

I did this on first try after not playing for two weeks, with 100% bonus and no train missed, didnt know this was supposed to be that hard and brutal+6 difficulty. Karax p1 and zagara p3 did it for my buddy and me. Now if you try Speed Freaks, Just Die, We Move Unseen and Propagators on Malwarfare, that is a difficult mutation.
