For me it was always VERY clear that Jim and Sarah are living together somewhere in peace right now. Imo, it was foreshadowed how Jim was tired of this whole fighting stuff and wanted to just quite, And Sarah coming back and taking him somewhere far away to live together separated from the wars align with both of their wish and the shitty powerpoint presentation we got at the end saying Jim was never found again.

The biggest thing is how the big bad Amon is supposedly conquering worlds, but it's all off-screen. Same in HotS with Kerrigan - she goes: "Kill this planet" to her brood mothers and they're like: "K".

I disagree Rethall, but a lot of it was fixing previous mistakes: the "Prophecy" retcon to something which at least _kinda_ fits into sci-fi, the Keystone retcon because they fudged their own timeline, more Tal'darim lore because they were dumb in WoL and faceless goons in HotS, some actual characterisation and development for protoss society even if they had to invent a new faction to do so and some closure on what the Xel'naga actually _are._ Plus Shakuras, that definitely wasn't filler. They definitely did Selendis dirty though, and Urun wasn't even mentioned.

@@Photoloss They should've never revealed what Xel'naga are. Less is more in storytelling. It was some god-like race, but now it turns out it's just floating Cthulhu balls. All three epilogue missions should never never have existed at all. Last mission should've been like War3 RoC's where you have three races with their bases defending. The the thing ends like LotV does - they banish Amon to the shadow realm, but everyone knows he will return and they go rebuild. But nope, going full anime with Super Saiyan Kerrigan...

@@CalciumChief They kinda had to _because_ of the way they used them previously imo. In the original SC1 lore they _might_ have been demigods but the portrayal was equally consistent with regular mortals misusing advanced biotech to indulge in mere delusions of godhood. The books kinda built them up to be more than that and then SC2 used them *so much* for plot convenience they had to give us _something_ even if not all of us agree with what we did get in the end. Oh and the "Cthulhu balls" are part of LotV proper, we see corpses in Ulnar. That scene encompasses most of what I personally wanted them to be: dead for their sins, leaving their creations to find their own path in the universe. And I for one really liked the *motivation* for the epilogue, precisely for the reason you state: Amon has already tried to come back before so now we finish him off for good and *don't* burden future generations with that legacy. Keep the Satan analogue in Diablo (or maybe WoW if you absolutely must), it has no real place in the gritty chaos that is the Koprulu Sector. Granted Amon shouldn't have been what he was to begin with, entering the Void like it's just another region of space was kinda dumb and the less said about glow girl the better. And the missions don't respect your own previous campaign choices, that was the biggest minus on my end.

The two in the bottom right don't really match any designs I know, one looks like a colour-reversed phoenix and the other must be tilted at a weird angle. The giant ring structure doesn't exist in that form either: stargates and warp conduits aren't weapons and the co-op Purifier Beam uses the black&white palette rather than gold&blue in addition to merely being the bottom part of Cybros in lore.

Oh, i finally got it! Amon made a shampoo for protoss, but Zeratool decided to cut everyone's hair because he doesn't have one. Artanis stopped crazy old guy, but with the cost of his precious hair. And so, he fighting red forces with Careagain, Jimmity, WITHOUT Alarak and with the greatest ship - transformer: Shotgun of Adun. And so, they shoot hybrid behemoth in the head. And then Careagain sees some kind of old space squid. Careagain is cosplaying drago ball z or something like that and flying to kill dat squid. And also Jimmity being pranked in the end...
