Amazing video. I got this platinum like, last month? But I've been playing this game off and on since like 2018, on switch, ps4 and steam. It was only this year I actually decided to go for the platinum, and it wad a real grind. Crafting every item, completing the museum and shipping every item was a total pain. Loved the video!

for anyone having a hard time with Fectors challenge: you can exit the game after each level and it will save your progress. this will allow you to rest until morning thus being able to reload the day if you end up either dying or not getting enough drops.

Just in case you didn't know @Smu the original game slimes did not talk. It is only in adventurer's guild expanded it talked. The shadow folks are really krobus' folk and family. Only krobus can talk to farmer.

@@sohkaryong5605 they talk in vanilla Stardew, no mods needed. They have since release from what I remember. They'll still attack the player, but slimes in Pelican Town occasionally greet the villagers. They also react to the player digging through trash. Adventurer's Guild Expanded adds an NPC slime though, it's super cute. That one you can have an actual conversation with, the vanilla game ones just get speech bubbles.

I think the difference between the first trophy I earned in Stardew and the trophy for beating the minigame without dying took me about 6 years. I genuinely cannot fathom why the creator would put such an unbalanced and frustrating challenge as a requirement for the platinum. Completing the minigame, sure, but with zero deaths? Absolutely ridiculous. Without the change that allowed savescumming, there is zero chance I would have this platinum.

Stardew Valley is the perfect example of achievements done wrong in my opinion. Fectors Challenge is such an uneccessary achievement, it's just sad. Achievements should never require you to play minigames in such a way. I want to complete a farming game.
