I selected to get the grav drive but shot all three of them because their leader pissed me off. Shot all their security too. Had to restart because i had a $50,000 bounty from Paradiso.

Hopefully, under the 2nd option they have the good sense to go seek help from the UC or Freestar governments to be resettled. They are essentially refugees from Earth and I'd imagine they'd be more than willing to help settle them somewhere.

Or maybe the UC would just be like “Either you guys commit to furthering our interests & earn your citizenship, or you go down in The Well with all the other shady criminal types.” As for the FC, the mega corporations (Ryujin, HopeTech, etc.) basically call all the shots, and if anything they’re even worse than Paradiso. I honestly think their best bet is to join up with the LIST guys. They’re facing the same challenges of homesteading on distant planets, and they could use some help fighting off the Spacers & other pirates.

The fact that this quest has no option to "screw with the corporate assholes" and instead you fk over people who flew 200 years and had an initial claim on the planet is dissapointing. Alot of quests start of good, then become meh. But hey, at least we have diversity. That's the real winner here.

This..also since there's dialogue for who has the oldest claim to the planet, means that probably there was a part of the quest left unfinished, where you'd probably go on the hunt for Constant's original rights to the planet, hence get the good ending. Rip. "It just works"

And to top it off the corporate assholes are IMMORTAL, it makes NO sense. This is easily the worst Bethesda quest I've ever played. Because it feels 50% done, never mind the details they mention in the dialogue that you can't act on, there's also whole conversations that should've been had with other characters before moving forward. The captain never even complains when you choose to go for the GravDrive, prior to that the last conversation I had with her she told me she'd "prefer if the people on the planet left the planet" and now she's just like "Woo, Gravdrive!" I left the conference room with a mine by the exit, that was the only way for me to feel like there was some justice served.

I want to visit their eventual settlement if they ever make one? i left a quest unfinished with the guy looking for his family with the hopes of returning to them when they landed but they just seem to be orbiting a deep freeze planet - do they eventually settle??

Isn't there? What if you blow them up before even docking? 🤔 or dock then kill everyone onboard? I am playing as empath right now so I haven't tried those options. You rarely have a firefight as an empath/char. with high persuation skills 😂

Agreed, some missed opportunities here. Could've had a hunt for their 200 year old claim to the planet, also could've incorporated their 200 year old ship as a time capsule attraction for Paradiso.

Yeah. It feels rushed and not complete. The setup for this mission makes it feel like there's at least 10 different ways to do this mission. It made me frustrated and so I just started shooting everyone 😆 🤣 😂

Giving them a Grav Driv contrdict what she said before leaving the ship. She said "This Planet" and nothing else, so I work a deal they have to work a debt instead. Even though that option still sucks, and I had no other way to debuttled a deal. Also how would they know how a grav drive would work? Thier ship doesn't even have a land gear?? I feel that the questline was rushed at the end. Too bad, it started off strong!

You know I wonder the same thing and I recently landed on denebola II-a planet on denebola systems and landed on Spaceship debris which I just found randomly. Turns out a huge ship crash there maybe that was the aftermath. 🤷🏽‍♂️

My bug was slightly different. The captain recognizes that I have all the ingredients, but when I have to finish the dialogue with her to go to Porrima, the game gets stuck in this first-person dialogue scene, with her smiling face looking at me eagerly waiting for me to do something, but the camera doesn't move from her face and I can't move my character. And worse than that, I can't even access the game's menus by pressing the ESC key. I have to finish the game by telling Windows to shut it down. I discovered that the only way to finish this quest was to go back to an old save game, before a certain character died during the main quests. All the save games I had after this character died didn't allow me to finish this mission, or even choose to make the ship explode.

I gave them the grav drive, which cost me 25,000 credits after haggling! And I regretted it, because they were ungrateful as hell! When I went back to their captain and asked for payment, she's like: "oh, I guess the satisfaction of helping people isn't enough?" :O. Some people....

But, stupidily, even after you blow up the colony ship (should you choose to do so), AND you fly there to witness it, Bethesda, in their infinite wisdom, still has the ship in orbit for the rest of your gameplay. You just can’t interact with it any more.

It's complete ass. You should be able to screw over the execs somehow. Like if your a deputy there should be more options. Or if you joined vanguard it should allow you to overrule the execs. Or, you should've been able to go all the to earth to find the documents from 200 years ago. Which would give them the right to the planet. They wanted to do something similar to the Tenpenny Tower in Fallout 3. When you either choose to blow up Megaton and join Tenpenny Tower. Or disagree and join Megaton.

If you bring up your scanner in any point of the game it will show you the route to make it to your waypoint. It only lasts for a little while though so you’ll have to keep bringing the scanner up.

Anyone who thinks that giving them a Grav drive is the " good ending " didn't get to know the crew. By getting the colonists to ground is the safest and best option. Mahbuti was scheduled for self termination. By getting them to the planet you save lives. Giving them the grav drive is a curse with an inevitable end. They will never be able to survive. By having them be employed by Paradise they are a collective union. Regardless of how they are compensated. Remember they have no need for credits. Also the quest is truly done correctly when you get them planetside. You'll see once you get to the unity.

I'm sorry... but, there are some serious game design flaws with this game. That should be something you get right at the beginning. Same with lock picking. Like wtf was Bethesda thinking!? Lol.

@@FinesseHer Nah. It's definitely always a skill you had when you began the game or at least from what I remembered. You just had to upgrade your skill through the skill tree to make it more efficient. Although in this game if you aren't aware like me you'll go through most of the game without realizing you need to unlock it through the skill tree to even be able to use it. Which I find pretty dumb personally. Like I feel the most basic skills like pickpocketing, lock picking, or even ship targeting should always be skills you should have at the very start. Maybe I might sound like I am nit-picking... but, Idk... I am just not a fan of this new skill tree system personally. Especially since the simplest Skills that you start out with in most RPG's are locked behind a skill tree.
