HOWEVER, AI is making strides and there are mods to make AI dialogue and activity in Skyrim which makes populated cities muuuuuch deeper now and unique to each person's experience. i mean yeah, a single player game doesn't remain this relevant after 12 years (for Skyrim at least) without a community that keeps it relevant. The Creation Engine is a godsend for modders, that's one of the main reasons Bethesda keeps using it instead of switching to UE.

The gameplay they first showed a couple years ago looked pretty shakey to me (The movement was almost stiff to me), but it looks like they tweaked it and it looks so much better. I dont know maybe because they showed more gameplay. Also, does anyone find that the gameplay looks/feels very similar to Halo, like they modeled it after Halo.

Unbelievably ambitious. So much more content than cyberpunk and look how that release turned out. I think it’s very likely the developers might’ve gotten too bogged down on the multitude of features than actually looking at quality and performance

Freestar collective is definitely gonna be my go to faction on release. On the outside it gives me Star Wars/Mandalorian feels and in the inside it’s a LOT More western/New Vegas style I freakin love it! The main leader of the faction reminds me of the evil sheriff from that one Clint Eastwood western movie that had Morgan Freeman.

I personally don't mind the prospect of no seamless space to planet flight. It sounds great in theory, but often sacrifices the amount of detail in the environment. Best case scenario they nail Space and planetary exploration separately and then perhaps a god tier modder could find a way to work it in. Either way i'm glad they're pooling their resources into quality over an immensely complicated feature that could detract from the game heavily if poorly implemented.

@@LtW00dy No Man’s Sky implements it functionally at best. The pop-in is crazy as you load in, and the novelty of landing on a planet from space fades quick after the 20th time doing it. The planets are also barren aside from very few generic copy pasted buildings. Totally the best call to get Space and Terrestrial as engaging as possible separately.

Honestly I don’t mind the “hidden” loading screens when leaving/moving between planets. It’s a fun gimmick to experience in No Man Sky, but it’s not make or break for the experience, imo. Procedurally generated planets is also a necessary inclusion to Starfield to keep up with the scale, but I honestly found these auto generated games, such as No Man Sky and Minecraft, to be an incredibly lonely experience if you don’t have any friends to play them with. Bethesda usually deliver a good narrative so I have hope they will succeed where I personally felt like No Man Sky failed.

NMS has trillions of planets, all procedurally generated, and almost any content within them is also procedurally generated so expecting something special and meaningful story-wise is not really in the cards. Starfield is a much more hand-crafted experience. Some things will be procedurally generated, namely the biomes and characteristics of each planet and the flora and fauna within them. And even then, all the game is doing is using hand-crafted tiles of terrain and stitching them together according to an algorithm that makes it make sense as a whole.

My biggest question concerning the game was a lack of any scifi space powers/telekinesis(too much Mass Effect playing growing up), but if they really did tease a bit of that at the end with the hand held up and gravity changing, that gets me pretty hyped when I certainly am trying to be cautiously apprehensive towards this game until reviews come up.

I hope there are more enemys at some locations. The outposts looked a little bit to easy in the first gameplay. Only 3-4 enemy bots in one outpost looks way to easy and empty. I wan't to have a challange in that type of games.

Im confident that bethesda learned from cyberpunk and on top of all that out of all the triple a studios bethesda has consistently delivered decent games compared to most.
