Starfield gameplay walkthrough part 1 would include a first impressions Review of Bethesda’s Starfield gameplay. This is a blind playthrough where We will be playing through the Single Player Story Campaign for Starfield on PC and focusing on the main quest. This is the full game of Starfield which is a single player open world RPG Game. This Starfield Story Campaign Walkthrough will include gameplay from the full game and day 1 patch. Danny's commrnt section so far is the most non toxic when it comes to starfield at these times Comparing starfield with no mans sky In no mans sky I was finding that shoot em up feeling but I cant 4 hours in I was using my mining laser to kill some insects It didnt felt like an adventure but instead a chore

Finally bought the game earlier today. I'm completely blown away by the sheer size of the game, I don't mean the maps or the quest, I mean its the biggest 'feeling' game I've ever played...everything about it is just EPIC. So much to learn and do... it's clear that this is a game we could still be playing in 15 years time (I still play Skyrim). This should just about keep me going till the next Elder Scrolls or I die.

What are the graphics settings ingame on your playthrough @ESOdanny ? Are you playing on 4k?

Just wanted to let you know that on Nexus, modders already released DLSS 2 support for Starfield. Follow the instructions there manually and it might help you for better performance with NVIDIA cards. I can tell you though I have a 4070 Ti, run DLSS 2 and on 1440p my FPS remains around 48-60 outside, 95-100 fps in caves or similiar interiors. Expect further performance optimizations to come in the future though.

When you said 'this is the first time I played a Bethesda game' I was like wait... WHAT? you're ESO you play a TON of Elder Scrolls... than I figure out you mean this is your first RUN THROUGH. You should play Mass Effect if you enjoy this space thing. It's an old game, but it's VERY similar to this one (but less open world and more linear RPG like with a bit of freedom to do what you want if you wish) and holds up well.

Enjoying your play through, it is certainly not the same dumb combat we were used to, is it the combat A.I. is so much better than other games. I have really enjoyed my playthrough so far as well. I have the wanted and hero worship traits as well but went with Kids stuff for my third and really love that trait. I started as an industrialist with security and persuasion with pistols as starting skills. I also watched your BG3 evil playthrough and enjoyed that as well. I have made some mistakes in my playthrough but playing it out as I am already 16th level with a lot of time invested. you can use most things ( grenades) but until you have the skill base level you will be shit at it most of the time. I find you don't use your meter in the lower left corner much either for enemies and O2 levels. Take some time offline to go through the menus because this game has a steep learning curse in the beginning.

Pretty standard for A Bethesda RPG. Here though, it's really good whereas in older titles the third person is largely am afterthought. It hasn't ever bothered me much cause I mostly stay in first person anyway, but it's awesome how well they did with it this time around.

When you found Heller, he was on a snow planet. I found Heller on a barren World without any Oxygen. they did say it would be different at certain points to other players.

I learned you only need to get rid of weapons and armor to sell you want to keep all your resources for crafting etc. put them on your ship. Also you really do not want to piss your companions off, so play nice lol. If you talked to the other girl you could of got a room in Constellation with all the crafting tables downstairs :) So far I have joined the Vanguard and Free whatever name LOL. its been fun so much to do in this game compared to fallout or skyrim. Joining the vanguard gets you more quests to shoot down ships which one of your skills needs. So far I am a part of 2 factions so it can be done.
