Thank you for clarifying how to get the final location from Barret. Very helpful guide. :) I'd heard it mentioned in various videos, but when I brought him along, he didn't give me any locations or quests, and that's most likely because I've hardly done any quests with him. I decided early on to romance Sarah, but then she died despite my having made the choice to go and save her. I didn't manage to do that because Walter was taken hostage right in front of me, so I had to try and save him first. And then it was too late with Sarah, she was dead when I arrived. So next I spent a long time romancing Andreja, and now I suppose I have to let go of her and gain affinity with Barret instead. I'm not gay or bisexual, so it seems a bit strange to go down that route. On the upside, I actually think Barret is the most positive character in the game. He's always friendly and high spirited, and then there's his stats. Only Sam Coe tops everybody else in that regard. I think it differs which power happens to be last in your quest line because they're linked to their locations, and the locations definitely differ between players and between each player's playthroughs. - And if everything else fails, there's the console command. Thank you for including that!

after the planet update its super easy to find temples, you can just jump on your ship and see it or when you land in the ship camera you can see it 80% of the times

Once his dead even the command console wont trigger it. So you have to do 11 NG+ now in order to have them all.

The caveat to getting Worlds Apart to start properly is you cannot take the Leadership perk. The problem is that companion commentary is tied to the com_affinity actor value. For companion commentary (and consequent quests) to trigger properly, Bethesda coded the comparison trigger to check for com_affinity to be equal to a certain value, not greater than or equal to, expecting that you'd be at a certain value when the quest should properly trigger. So if you can get companion affinity a percentage rate faster with Leadership perks, then it throws the whole thing off as each expected companion affinity gain is multiplied by 15%. If you're on PC and bought the game via Steam (this is a necessary requirement due to plugins.txt support being shoehorned into the game by way of SKSE), there's a mod called "Skill Fixes" that fixes this, among other things.

@@DerkaReloads Yeah my explanation is actually a little bit incomplete as it took a re-read of the fix explanation (for a related, now redundant fix mod) to see what was actually going on. Bethesda uses multiple actor values to track not just companion affinity (which is the only thing that Leadership should be affecting), but apparently each completion of companion affinity quests. The problem is that the Leadership perk incorrectly increases *all* companion affinity gains by 15%, not just the com_affinity actor value. So per the readme for the now-redundant "Companion Comment Fix" mod on Nexus (which had its fix integrated into "Skill Fixes,") "the actor values that trigger the comments were set to 1.15 with the Leadership skill," but were coded to check that the associated actor values were only equal to 1. So with the quest coded to only fire if all associated actor values were set to equal 1 (not equal or greater than 1, which is what you'd get if you took the Leadership perk at any point prior), the quest would never start.

I got to the point of 12 powers vlad having nothing for a long time went through activities saw talk to barret and got that power than vlad starting giving out the others.... never used barret as a companion. Nor talked with him much. Not sure when or how the quest triggered.

@@DerkaReloads It's probably the time that elapses that triggers the quest. Most likely due to him being your companion for the length of long time. Really stupid of Tod Howard to make this mechanic and prevent the others powers from spawning what a turd troll lol. He had better fix and update this to just spawn all quests regardless of the outcome of Barrett.

Alas, this does not tell us how to find temples when the player is at war with House Bugthesda. In my NG+3 I found two different Temple Sigmas on two different planets (one before meeting Barrett then another with Barrett) and I somehow got Personal Atmosphere V, but I never found Temple Phi despite exhausting Vladimir’s help (he no longer responds AT ALL) and visiting EVERY system in the game, so Alien Restoration is behind everything else at III. Parallel Self used to be one behind the others, but the two Temple Sigmas raised it to IV. The game says there are still five undiscovered temples, but I have my doubts. Perhaps there are really only 24 temples per universe and the second Temple Sigma took a place that would have gone to Temple Phi? 🤔

There is a certain path you have to follow to collect all the powers on every NG+ I’m on NG+6 and iv done the same run every time and every time I have collected 24 powers and in some cases iv collected 25 powers

@DerkaReloads unfortunately your video is outdated. Bethsda said this was a glitch that you should be able to get them all with or without the quest. They fixed this is the patch in janurary (the 11GB one). You don't need Barret to get the last one just check every star system and it will tell you where to go if there is one there.

I am still missing 2 powers, and it says there are 4 temples i have not found. I can't get Barret's quest to start and Vlad's useless. This game is really pissing me off. I just want to find all the powers in a nice even fashion, but Bugthesda can't make anything without JANK!

I'm sorry how did you lose your powers? NG+ allows you to keep all powers collected into the next NG. Its the only way to get them to level 10. unless you were cheating to get them.

Unsure, did NG+ and was left with half. When I reacquired the first one after NG+ it was lvl II. Assumed that's how it was supposed to work

I'm currently at NG+2 and still missing 5 powers: particle beam, earthbound, inner demon, supernova and sunless space (the one I want). On the first playthrough, i've chosen the dialog option and killed both Hunter and Emissary on the second. Did the Berret mission too... what did I miss? Did not get any more temple locations from Vlad, I think i didn't do the optionals when saying goodbye before Unity, it was bugged with no paths, was that it?

Yeah it sounds like you didn't do the "say goodbye" I think that's crucial for getting vlad to give you the other locations

There is a certain order you do the power from beyond if you do them in a certain order you will get them all even get 25 temples

To get more missions from Vlad, play through Revelation in the main quest line (2nd to last mission). Then go back and talk to Vlad. So the Barret thing is a toss up still. Some guy in the comments said its bugged if you take the leadership skill but unsure. Some people get the Barret mission by raising affinity and some don't. If you never ever get the mission go watch Part 3 it'll show what to do. Just make sure you've played through "A High Price to Pay"

Have you done NG+? It’s possible to get the skill without Barrett’s quest if you choose to skip the main story.

Within the first 30 seconds dude literally explains that the locations are random and not set in place there is no specific location for any of the temples the real problem is you don’t listen too much😂
