Normally you can build a ship max 40 meters, there's a mod that allows over 40 but the game won't let you land on a planet if you're over 80.

My shield does recharge, It just does not recharge when you are fired at. So a shield with a high recovery rate can do the trick, tho I lean more into highshield capacity. You get this one Vanguard Reactor lvl B Shield from the Vanguard quest. It has 1450 capacity and is one of the best in the Game. Only some with reactor class C and and also points into spaceship design are better. So I still stick with it, it's called Vanguard Bulwark

2nd tip: subsystems with a lot of energy alloted to them will be prioritized when the crew attempts to repair it. Very useful if you need the grav drive up asap in a very hairy dogfight.

There's four that I'm aware of. One for each 'evil' faction. Va'ruun, Spacers, the Crimson Fleet and Ecliptic. Then you've got the Vigilance for UC in storyline... Freestar really needs something cool like this.

​@darkcrisisgaming298 Well there's respawning and randomly generated crew members you can recruit from bars and planets. (The propulsion, weapons, payload, etc specialists) You could just recruit them, or you do a skeleton crew

It's more about the limitations of the landing pads I think. As they wanted to allow a significant amount of freedom in ship design, but you have to cut it off somewhere otherwise it won't fit on the pad and the landing/ascent animations would clip into buildings and such. Hence the 80m size limit. Pretty sure that battleship is longer than 80m.

Fair enough we can’t steal it as there’s no way something that big could fit at new Atlantis… you can already get the light pole at new homestead to clip inside your ship if you build it to max size….

​@@zepho100It's incredibly good enough for what it is honestly, like seriously I already have over 500 hours in this thing and I am nowhere near done with it, I mean you can already build heavy Corvettes or small frigates and walk around the inside of them You can't really do that in any other game as far as I know, Yeah I would love to be able to command capital ships like the cruisers we see flying around every now and then or like the war era destroyers you see crashed on planets and such But I am already extremely impressed with what we can actually do and more than satisfied.

While I agree with the fact that there is fast travel in the game that can be "Immersive destroying" it all depends on how you use it. As an RPG (Which Starfield is!" ) the fast travel can be a life saver for things like Outpost building etc. I tend to use it for that and that alone. It's quite tedius having to get in ship, take off, set path fly, land get out, sort out outpost then repeat becuase you're missing something. Fast ravel here is the winner.@@zepho100

Then there's all the pieces that are there for looks. Those are all special. I genuinely think they have capital ship pieces put together in the files somewhere that we may be able to use eventually.

I see so many people are bummed that you can't make or board something like this. Install ship size increase/no cap reactors/no cap shields/no cap weapons mods and have at it. I created a monster with 9000 shields, 6 reactors, 14 turrets and 6 missile launchers, feels like i own the space.

How do you refuse to use the partical beam weapons when they deal equal damage to shields and hull. They are just as good as ballistic to defeat ships. This fight could have been done quicker if you alternated between each weapon system while you waiting for ballistic to recharge

@@NoiceBrudda It's a turret, and halfway through the battle it bugs out and quits targeting, as turrets tend to do sometimes. I've found you have to fully depower and repower them to sort of reboot their AI.

Its not a lie, there's a mod on nexus that unlocks so called M-Modules, they are already in the Game, but the player can't access them. With this mod and these modules you can build ships just like this one. So instead of talking shit, maybe just stay quiet if you don't know about stuff.

I don't understand all the hype envolved in getting "LEDGENDARY" stuff. With the one exception of what ever it may be having the "LEDGENDARY" status. There is by far and away other same item's not ledgendary that are better. The Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria are legendary ship's from our earily past. One should ask them selves if they would rather have one of them compared to any of the various ship's that exist today? The .38 is and was a ledgendary pistol, comparing it to those availbale today. And who would choose one.
