The funniest thing about the intro section is that if you run off when the pirates show up, the fight resolves itsself and Barrett still praises you for doing "fine work under pressure".

@thelorerunner I always thought that the power armor in F4 was done too early and the fusion cores were not a great idea. They should have given power armor the chance to break permanently under the correct conditions. For example Nate has it break from the deathclaw damage and Nora missed a step when getting in and it breaks for her. The simple fix in F4 is for the initial suit to break in a scripted event when the deathclaw is dying. That way you get to test it out see what it is like, and if you like it you can look in likely spots to find a new frame and build your own set. (Sturges could "tell her" where the spots you might look are)

Ah Starslop. Sadly it's not a good game. It feels like the typical Bethesda stuff that they always make. No different,no better. Just typical. One giant step back for gaming. A smaller ,indi game,Starsector does far more than this game ever hoped to do and with far less resources and more passion. This is everything wrong with modern gaming.

I'm sorry, but that comparison with Starsector makes no sense. Specifically your assertion that it "does far more than this game ever hoped to". It's pretty clear that Starfield hoped to be (and turned out to be) a Bethesda-style open world action RPG in a space setting. You're certainly free to think that's not a goal you want for a game, and you may even criticize where they fell short of that goal (I mean, this game has some mechanical regressions compared to Fallout 3, which I'm also replaying recently) - but Starsector certainly isn't even *trying* to be a BRPG. FWIW, I started Starfield fairly recently and think it has a lot of shortcomings (and fell short of my expectations overall) but I couldn't honestly consider it a bad game overall. I think the current 83 metacritic rating is pretty much on point and will go up as they address obvious issues and bugs (e.g. they've already promised proper maps).
