"M Class Ships would break the game, imagine trying to land it somewhere".... Sounds like a problem that could be fixed if along with the land rovers we got a module for a "Shuttle Hangar" we could build into our M Ships and get shuttles to use for transportation to and from planets. GET ON IT BETHESDA! (Also, along with being able to build M Ships.... PLEASE give us some proper large scale space battles when Shattered Space comes out...and an actual use for our Brigs... and let me change where doors and ladders are placed within my ship) alright I'm done whining now lol.

That's beyond childish, it's a disappointing game because it's not innovative at all. We see RPG's coming out today with minimal loading screens, better AI, and better graphics that resemble next GEN which is how Starfield was advertised. BG3 is a perfect example of a company with passion and a fan base feeling that passion in the game. Most people do not feel passion with this game because it's a quick cash grab that had no inspiration behind it. I mean seriously who at Bethesda thought of a space game where you don't get the fly in space exploring😂. You receive seven months of heat because you made incredibly bad product that's over priced.

I hope they add massive fleet carriers, and you have to take smaller ships to land on planets and can forge your own squadrons and such.

Found the Ecliptic one once - I was seriously underpowered with a reactor of 30 and I don't think I have the best particle cannons etc. I think it took me over 30 minutes of strafing in to down the shields and chip away at hull health - then boost away until I'm 4km away and able to repair. Then rinse and repeat. It was a fun fight though. The Ecliptic stayed a bit more whole as a wreck, so I have collected some good screenshots of it, and how relatively tiny my ship was in comparison. Best bit, it was my Millenium Falcon-style ship - so the little hunk-o-junk got the job done.

Same destroyed it with long range particle weapon. Kind of cheesed it by reversing and staying just out of it's firing range.

I came across a Legendary Chrimson Fleet ship that opened up on me immediately. I boosted out to range, turned and shredded the individual ships chasing me and began pounding the Legendary Ship at about 4k-5k out with missiles. Took about 5-10 minutes but I killed it in one sitting. I had 4 of the best missile weapons available to me with a 4.5k range I think...

As I was building outpost chains towards t3 componentry. I actually encountered several of these ships. - The first time I nearly got ripped to shreds. I was better prepared from then on. Have taken out 4 of them and their escorts. They do respawn, only with the same name (which is wierd). - I reckon theres a couple of times I actually encountered them, but was focused on other things. - Yes they are a lot of XP.

I just killed this ship yesterday for the first time. one thing to note though is that if you fail to kill it or leave it to get prepaired but the quest will let you find the ship until you kill it.

I got a legendary ship when it landed on the last planet you visit during the hunter storyline play through. Never got to use it because I jumped straight NG+. If I get one in the future I'm gonna break it down and use its parts for my home ship.

The thought of having a class M ship aka a mothership that stays in space would be a awesome add to the game make it to where ypu could have a M ship then have smaller fighter or scout ships you could send crew out with to fight or scout places or pilot yourself would bee cool hell it would be cool to have with the rovers also have a smaller Aircraft/spacecraft to scout planets or things that can land on water

I found my current ship from these icons. I got the decrepit renegade almost right away ng++.class c ship after a bug hunt. I have also found the spacer capitol ship. I haven't tried to take it though

10 days and no answer huh its bc everyone is Lol. Ok ok PSA but only for steam users. Simply Google how to downgrade Starfield and you'll get a nice how to write-up to follow. You also can use YT search and watch the vidoes available on here. I cant stress it enough, follow the steps to get everything running on the version that works with your mods. Then make sure you follow the instructions on how to keep your game from EVER updating. Then back-up your game files especially the Starfield file with the version you neeed for your mods that in itself is a national treasure, cheers.

The one thing you said about it staying where you found it is simply not true. I have seen these ships, especially Camulus. And though I have killed many of them through the iterations, every time I leave one for later, it disappears and I have never been able to find it again, even after doing systematic sweeps.

I'm hoping that there's more than just three legendary ships. I'm trying to make it back to level 160, trying to rank up one of those skills that requires taking out ships. I'm hoping I didn't blow through the legendary fun too quickly I thought there was lots of legendary ships. Yes I know if I fly to the pirates main system you get a pretty good battle also, although that's only a handful of ships for leveling up the skill it requires taking out ships.
