yeah i always have the the positives and negative enabled because i like how it incentivises me to eat and drink, now i'm actually planning to create my own supply of food and drinks, might make a video on that

that hydrated sneak bonus sems to be broken... when i have the hydrated bonus, my sneak attacks on my very young character, with 1 sneak perk and a silenced maelstrom it somehow does x35.7 damage (or was it 37.5?) either way it's pretty crazy, i did multiple tests of difficulty options, on normal or easy, or very easy, all the same bonus each time.. that is the only silenced weapon i have to test it with though. with out the hydrated bonus (turned the option off) the sneak bonus is only x2.1 like normal. also really think they need to change it so not everything is 30 minutes of fed or hydrated... so a few grapes are as filling as a rather large steak? the chunks drink is "chunks cola flavored" by the way.

yeah i got this bug too, i remember looking in the top right with a sneak multiplier of x35.7, yeah they could definitely change how filling some foods are

The game is much easier now and I exploit the 75% XP as I can. I'm on a only melee build, don't use guns. On a new game I only change damage I cause to enemies to very easy, when I'm encumbered I change the settings and send extra cargo to the ship, when I'm sick change my settings and sleep and cure all my disease's, then set everything to 75% again.

So if you can access your cargo from anywhere.. why do you need the extra carry capacity?? You should only need one or the other IMO.

for the weight capacity i believe it is actually a flat +500 for increased, and +1000 weight for greatly increased... my newly created character was 1135 carry weight, or something close to that with no other modifier but the greatly increased. the "venus vendor trick" never really made sense.. $5,000 rest for one hour, $5,000 rest for an hour.... etc etc.. OR just go to neon, 10+ vendors, with 5,000 or 11,000 (before the update) by the times you sell to even half of them, you would have 50,000.. the equivalent of venus after resting 10 times! sell to all of them is close to what you'd get by resting to reset the venus vendor 15+ times, with resting ZERO times... and usually that'd be enough. sleeping bonus is 10% sleeping with your lover "lovers embrace" is 15%

yeah its crazy that venus vendors have 25k now, waiting 1 hour and selling 4 times at a bar gives you 100k i love it

takes a few days for the vendors to up their credits you can't switch it on and get more vendor credits just like that. but on the way in your ship turn it on. Oh yeah you can wait in chairs. I forgot about that.

yeah a vendor at a bar on Venus is the fastest way to sell your stuff now, sitting and talking to the vendor at the same time is game changing

How come I do not see the increased XP from the gameplay adjustments? It's about the same as standard gameplay XP gains.

that may be a bug, i haven't actually tested if the xp gains are accurate

no the save settings don't affect XP :)

just before doing the last step of a mission turn up everything to extreme or whichever way for the max xp boost of 75%, then sleep for 10% more (or 15% with your love) possibly eat, drink, take whatever for further xp boost, and turn do that last step / turn in the quest... boom, almost double xp. just change it all back before you go back out into combat. 😀 probably wouldn't be worth it to do that every time.. (also, i don't even know for sure it effects mission xp, or is it just kill xp?)

Fun fact: At launch, food xp starts at 2%. A number so low that it takes maxing out the Food skill just to raise it to 3%. Please tell me they raised it to make it viable with the new patch... (PC is currently down, so can't test for myself)

But the problem is having so much handicap just to get the xp boost almost makes the game unplayable. You have to be aware of nearly everything constantly so that you don't get disadvantaged when you least expect it.

yeah but you can mess with the settings to your liking, i play with a 33% boost where its not to bad difficulty wise but i get decent xp

I enjoy the disadvantages. I have 114 carry weight and weighted bullets so I must only carry the essentials. If I'm not careful in combat, I can either die or get injured, which can lead to diseases if not treated. I like that the game rewards you for these challenges. But if you don't like these settings, make your own and play with the games standard XP , you don't get any - % lower than 0
