I can’t for the life of me get the doors on the stairs to work i can get a door on the bottom but there’s never a door on the top and when i try to add a hallway or a different type of door at the top the one on the bottom ends up clipping through the wall

Is there a way to look inside the ship while editing? I heard its possible to customize the inside of the ship better?

Its not possible to look inside of the ship while in ship builder mode.

​@MetaITurtle you can decorate your ship while your in it. There's a "Ship Decorator" panel in the cockpits, alternatively when you use your scanner while in your ship there's and option at the bottom to decorate, the same way you would in an outpost

If you mean setting where doors and ladders go, yes. It’s not intuitive but if you click on the port you want to attach to and then I think hit both triggers? It’ll open what you can attach to it and that will be the door or ladder location

yes, there’s a mod on creations that let’s you preview your ship while you’re in the builder. Saves a lot of time!

Cant seem to find the mini bracer is there a wotk around for this?

its on Structural tab, scroll down to Nova Galactic parts, then you'll find it under the normal sized bracer. Also make sure you have all mods required with the same load order as mine.

found the issue, I had completely forgot to check if I had ship builder categories and installing that seemed to fix the issue.

I am having this issue. I have all the mods installed but the Nova Mini Brace is not showing. I have the Nova Mini Bracer however but the snap points aren't making it possible for me to continue past this step.

Do you take ship requests? I’ve been trying for like 2 months to get my SysDef build right but I can’t find the right ship, this is great but I need something that would fit the story line of SysDef, like the whole agent/ undercover pirate. I’m not sure if you’d be interested in using your talents to help out but just an idea.

Make sure you have the ship building tweaks mod at the bottom of your load order. If it doesn't work at first, reload the game and load your save again. This works on xbox and pc
