Starfield, for sure, has its fair share of deserved criticism. It's nice when content creators like yourself take the ṭime to show off a bit of the beauty that many of us skip right by. Wonderful video. Always look forward to your new content. Went searching for a planet to build a home base on, decided to finally take up residence on your moon because of the great gas giant show at night and of course purple palms😂. I'll try to keep the music down at night. Lol

Agreed, some is deserved, but some of the complaints that I see are nonsense. People that want the game executed differently and in a very specific way without considering the potential reasoning for making a decision. Either way, love it or hate it, Starfield has some of the most breathtaking locations that I have ever seen in a game. You just have to go find them! Thanks for watching again! Indigo Ridge is next…

I just surpassed 1,000 hours recently, and I haven’t even entered Unity one time yet. Got my first character to 90 before I realized that I should start a new game so I can build ships as I level up a new character. Now my second character is approaching level 120, and the game is still not out of fun to be had. I agree, the load screens could have been disguised better and we should be able to choose between fast travel and more of a simulation-style travel if we wish, but for me there really isn’t much, if anything else, to complain about. Thanks for watching, check out my ship builds!

@@WizeOldWizard man you play starfield like i play skyrim 🤣 i got 3k hours in skyrim and have only finished it once, most of the time i dont even play with dragons around. and i agree, starfield is packed with content, and if you play it like a bethesda game you go from interresting place to interresting place. I hope the DLC brings mechs that you can build like starships, that would be an absolute blast i was thinking of not touching this game untill creation kit 2 come out again, but i played again and realised how fun this game really is, and how much content is packed into it. and therefore im really glad theres people like you who still make content, and your content is great, especially the ship builds, theyre amazing
@WizeOldWizard8 ай бұрын
Oh I definitely aim to finish things when I start a playthrough. I’ve currently completed the main starting universe story, UC Vanguard, Crimson Fleet, Freestar Ranger, and Ryujin questlines. Built a full fleet of ships in this starting universe, an expansive home base outpost, and numerous resource mining outposts including all those necessary to feed a fully automated and functioning Vytinium Fuel Rod production outpost. There are still quests to complete and planets I haven’t visited, and I definitely have not collected all the gear I’d like to have. Thankfully I plan on running through to NG+9 where I will really do everything that there is to do. I’d say I still have a good 1000 hours of playtime left, and that’s not even considering DLC and mods. Frankly, that’s incredible.

you know what??? i love the effort you make consistently to make your videos! i was really really surprised that you took the time to walk around some of those beasts and you captured just a great moment! little features that most people dont pay attention to. that beast was running towards you and you can hear the difference of its run as it runs on rock and as it runs on grass again! that was the part that blew me away, along with the breezy sound and the chirping of the flying beasts, just beautifully done! dont know how long it took you to explore all of these planets but bro keep bringing us content like this! these are all great options for outposts! its not only entertaining seeing those views, but you also have your ship battles! which to me is my favorite part of Starfield! looking forward to more videos soon!

@@WizeOldWizardwith your experience exploring planets do you think a ground based vehicle will even be able to quickly traverse the terrain? So many trees and boulders in the way of efficient ground based vehicle transportation on lots of planets IMO. We need a low earth orbit style VTOL vehicle or something to actually get around.

@BaxterretxaB I think it will be up to player discretion to choose a traversable route. They will absolutely cut down on travel time regardless of this concern.

Tau Ceti VIII B not only looks cool while having alien critters about, but if you get the right bordering biomes you can get Iron and Aluminum together, making it a decent starter area to get Adaptive Frames going. I'd have to see what the critters and plants provide though, if you could pair(IIRC) toxins and metabolic agents with the Argon from the polar area you could add an Amp production facility on top of it: a staple for Starfield IMO since +35% movement speed makes planet traversal much faster.

I’m positive that you can find mineral deposits in them, and I didn’t even think to show that! I for sure should have opened up the beacon at some of these spots. There are a few critters on Denebola I-b but nothing too concerning, but they definitely won’t be venturing to the top of one of those! Yeah I love the Wanted trait, you basically get the Cornered legendary effect. And then pair that with a weapon that has it and hooo boy! That’s a god-tier character right there!

@redlabl I agree, I think fanboy, kid stuff, any of the faction traits are a complete waste. I chose traits that give my character actual advantages no matter what situation I’m in. Never got that deep into the Dawnguard relationships, but I definitely have similar memories while questing with Lydia. Sometimes her antics could be helpful distractions though!

Can you set a husbandry farm on schrodinger 8 or no it won't show up for me idk why
@WizeOldWizard8 ай бұрын
I haven’t tried myself, have you scanned all the fauna? That may unlock it if one of the creatures can be domesticated.
@graivusshle67626 ай бұрын
@penshockey5474 - I realize this is a month after you posted, but hopefully this helps. There are several steps you need to take before you can place animal husbandry units, AND, not every planet or moon will allow you to do so without shipping in certain resources: 1. Before you can set up animal husbandry, you have to have the correct skill levels in Zoology and Botany. Probably not the issue. 2. Second, you need to scan the plants and animals on the moon or planet. Again, probably not the issue. 3. Most important though, and probably the reason you can't, is that you need to make sure you have the correct resources present at your outpost BEFORE the game will even allow you to place animal husbandry units. (They won't show up in your build menus until you have the resources there, even if you have the skills, and even if you've surveyed the animals and plants on the moon or planet!) This includes greenhouses that produce fiber, at least two water extractors, a solid storage unit, as well as power supplies. ******* Unfortunately, if the plants on your moon or planet don't produce fiber, you can't put an animal husbandry unit on that moon or planet - at all - without setting up resource connectors to ship them in! If you want a self-sufficient outpost, you need to find a moon/planet with a plant species that produces fiber, and grow that plant in your greenhouse(s). ******** 4. Connect a water extractor to the greenhouse, connect the greenhouse to the solid storage unit. Once the greenhouse is producing fiber, you'll be able see the animal husbandry unit in your build menu, which you can then build. Then, connect the other water extractor and the solid storage unit to the animal husbandry unit. Must admit, I was initially confused and discouraged, and gave up on animal husbandry until I found this very thorough guide: gamerant.com/starfield-animal-husbandry-outpost-guide/ I bet WIze Old Wizard could make a great video to show how to set up animal husbandry units at an outpost. 😉
