One thing I hated in Fallout 4 is if your companion was back at the settlement, far away and you did something they didn't like they still know about it. How would they know? Hope they fixed that in Starfield. I like to be bad when no one is looking!

I think its either being looted or having the part of the ship with the sandwiches destroyed causes a loss. After all, if you lose a ship in space, well, that's death as you'll run out of air in your suit floating for eternity. Normally, if you die, you end up reloading the last save/auto save. So I don't think it's a completely destroyed ship we are talking about here. But we'll have to play the game to find out I guess.

Why does the thumbnail include a Roberts Space Industries (Star Citizen) armor?

On the losesing loot due to damaged ship. I don't think if you die you lose all your loot. Generally how it works is if you die you reload the last save/auto save. So I wager it'll if the area where your loot is damaged youll loose some or all of the loot. I also imagine if the area where people are is destroyed they die or its game over as Im sure some are non-killable. It will be interesting to see how it works.

you could lose the ship tho, say you die reload the auto save but then your in a different ship or your ship but without the loot and youll have to track down and kill the enemy that got you, thus reclaiming your loot and taking theirs...

@kennethmiller81 I think that defeats the purpose of having the ability to load previous saves. Which is a staple in most games. It also doesn't make sense. Your ship was destroyed before a fight happened... Imagine your last save was at the space port, and as you took off the space police raided your ship cause of the cocaine sandwiches, and your ship was destroyed. So you're sent back to the space port before the fight happens. Why would your ship be gone if the raid hasn't happened yet? Also, from what I've heard, ships are expensive while you can have multiple that's not going to be the case early on. What then you get sent back and suddenly your playing stranded on random planet 738 simulator. It just seems highly unlikely and not at all fun.

1:00 it means where your stored stuff you craft and goodies you store if it gets damaged needs repair before you can use the crafting station again or having objects you got like gear and such destroyed / damaged.

I mean im all for mods but atleast play vanilla first. Its kinda both dissapointing and sad when I see people excited to play this game JUST to mod the hell out of it. I mean a few bug fix mods are okay and so is maybe graphic improvements but immediately adding fanmade content in the first week or two is dumb imo. Like the content the developers made is not good enough. I plan on playing Starfield vanilla for atleast a few multiple playthroughs.

Not gonna wait around for that just so I could claim to have had a vanilla experience. If there are good and fun mods out soon after release, I will try them out if they appeal to me. If you think about what they said ... 1000 planets with 300 being used, ... that gives modders 700 planets to develop. They won't be stuck with zones like in Skyrim, they will have entire planets. Those are what I can't wait to see.

I also think procedural generation will play a major part in the creation of the map. Hammerfell is largely made up of a massive brutal desert. I could see the Coasts of the Illiac Bay being dense, hand-crafted towns and cities, while the interior of Hammerfell is a massive deadly open desert survival zone. Vehicle systems could also be used for ship building and sailing mechanics. Starfield presents a lot of amazing systems to build off of for ES6

That's funny I thought they removed one or more feature every game. Morrowind removed climbing walls and a lot of freedom. Oblivion removed custom spells and weapons that let you break the game and fly around literally, Skyrim removed most of the depth of the rpg section of the game and classes making magic entirely action based. Fallout 4 removed most is the dialog system and dumbed the game down even more.

I'm going to be taking my time with this game, going from star system to star system, surveying every planet and moon I can and gathering supplies, cos you know we're going to need them for outpost and shipbuilding, research and trading. The PC system requirements AMD recommend is just them trying to scaremonger and make people buy newer hardware, I believe steam's requirements are much more honest, they have no agenda other than selling games.

I get that people's finances might be tight so if that's the case then I can understand why having an SSD (provided you don't already have one) can be a problem. That being said, even a 1TB SSD doesn't cost that much. I went with a 4TB SSD and yeah that one cost me a little over $600 if I'm remembering correctly (been a minute since my computer was built) but the smaller SSDs are MUCH cheaper. So anyone thinking about upgrading or just building a new computer all together you should definitely get a 1-2 TB SSD. Its worth the money.

Pretty sure this is the second time that the thumbnail for a Starfield video you posted has a picture of Armor/Spacesuits the are from Star Citizen...
