After seeing all this bs, i have gone to watch the video, Literally the only thing that is similar to that video is the mention of Venus, which I got from a tip on my last outpost video. Idk why he sent yall to harass me but it's pretty sad. This is the only way to set up a resource farm. Which is what I did. And posted, before he even posted his video. Yall need to get a life.

Something worth mentioning - if you have the power "personal atmosphere" it makes this a ton easier if yoy set it as your active power. While setting this up, to avoid moving items around your ship and follower you can just keeo them, and use the personal atmosphere power to just be able to run without using oxygen. By the time it runs out, youll be oretty close to activating it again, and all that weight doesnt run you out of oxygen.

This is good advice, but so is BE CAREFUL, because when it runs out mid-run, and you're carrying thousands of pounds of stuff, you'll lose health FAST.

@@danshive4017 the game gives plenty of visual cues, I was carrying over 1800 weight and still took about 2 seconds to drain my O2 and I only have my extra O2 level at 1. Shouldn't be hard to keep in check unless someone is blind and deaf.

It was just one second, it's full white, the next, it's full red, and 1/5 of my health was gone. This should only happen if sprinting, but that's why you use the power. Anyway, my note was simply "be careful." Paying attention is being careful.

Bessel III-b has Aluminum, Iron, Nickel, Cobalt, and beefed up time dialation (rivals venus). It's possible to extract all from one outpost but if you don't want to spend hours scouting the perfect location, it's easy to cargo link a second outpost. I found a location with Aluminum, Iron, and Nickel and then linked a second outpost with Cobalt and Platinum. Same principles as this video, but a better planet to accomplish them on.

My first outpost on Bessel III-b has Aluminum, Iron, Nickel, and Cobalt. There is another video someone else made that walks you through how to get all 4 at a specific spot, which takes a bit of time messing around with finding a "mountain" to land on and it's one spot that is very small and hard to nail (but completely doable).

Sitting and waiting isnt exactly squeezing as much XP as you can by the way. Sleeping would be better so you get the well rested bonus and then there's the effects of drugs and clothing. 😉

If you build an outpost on Venus, you should try to do it in an area where you've found one of the vendors (looks like an igloo icon), so that you can quickly sell what you craft and reset by a 1 hour wait in between.

If you set up a few different outpost to get enough resources to make a lot of Tau Grade Rheostat and Isocentered Magnet you get the XP for making them and then you can turn them into Comm Relays which gives you 198 XP per 99

not worth it when i can just put my outpost on a planet with iron and aluminum that has a ridiculous time conversion set it up so i get 50k+ of each every time i sleep 24 hrs then craft 50k+ adaptive frames by activating a macro and waiting 45 seconds rinse repeat to have enough perk points to max every skill in about 15 minutes. the planet my xp farm outpost is on passes 1386 hr and 47 minutes of ut whenever i sleep 24hrs locally. the extractors are set to tick on ut. i have stacks on stacks of storage because it only costs aluminum and iron to make. the rest of the supplies for making extractors can be bought in neon. you can also make a ton of credits selling the adaptive frames. just need to utilize ship cargo.

You can build your outpost on any planet with the given materials you want and then just wait on venus onboard your ship and you will have the same results, then right before you start constructing just sleep 1 hour in an bed owned by you and you will have the xp boost

Works fine, but better if the iron and alu is at the same location where you craft. The freighter actually has to land and only brings 500 resources at a time and doesnt do that more often when you fast forward time. That how it works on xbox anyway ... i dont know if its different on pc. I guess i will have to find a different location. Thanks for the tip 🙂

thanks to reddit i've learned if you pinpoint the switch from mountains to craters and land on craters area you will have or find the biome change and possibly get all 5 in one outpost. im satisfied with my 4 on Andraphon with Iron/Aluminium/Hium/Beryllium. have a few other outposts all with 4 on them.

Just FYI, its super easy to build a single outpost on Andraphon that covers all 4 resources without the need for a separate iron outpost. Also venus is an inferno planet and you can't build outposts there until you level up your colony skills loads. And as you later said it's easier to buy the materials from Atlantis than Akila, so I don't even understand why you wouldn't have just done that first and not even bother with Akila...

I'm thinking that once you're deep into multiple NG+ and have enough levels, having a steady supply of enhancers would be more useful than industrial production. A good video, thanks. Use a sleeping bag instead of a chair; sleeping gives you a Well Rested bonus and 118 XP per 99 frames, Landing near the juncture of 2 biomes makes it easy to wander around with the outpost marker until you find an area with 4 or 5 resources. Bessel III-b has 60/1 time and Fe, Al, Cu and Ni.

The problem i've had is leveling really slows down at 30-35+. I'm practically done with the game and don't have nearly enough skill points to do some of the fun things I wanted to in the other trees. The pacing just feels too slow and if you went for outposts or any form of crafting... you are really going to miss out on some of the other cool aspects of the game.

Waiting isn't speeding up the cargo link deliveries. Isn't it suppose to? I even went to venus and waited a full day there and went back and only like 1 delivery occurred during that time. I thought it was working at some point like i'd expect but it isnt anymore. There is a massive surplus plus constant power from reactors so it isnt waiting on resources or anything. Any ideas? I've got about 40k iron just sitting at the main iron mine spot waiting to be moved. the massive storage place i have for it at my main outpost has more than enough room and it just is filling EXTREMELY slowly.

There are dozens, perhaps even over one hundred steps. The steps may be easy, and become second nature once learned, but for a noob, it's a bit overwhelming at first. I don't understand what's going on but this suddenly is hardly working for me and I cannot figure out why. I had it all set up, 2 bases on Androphon, one in the Aluminum and one in IRon. Everything was set up correctly, I had 2 huge sets of storage containers (100 each). I would go to Venus, wait 48 hours there and come back and have over 20,000 Iron and Aluminum ready to go. Now suddenly, the Iron is transferring at a snails pace and I don't know why, I rest 48 on Venus and come back to 20,000 Aluminum and about 1000 Iron. I checked my Iron farm outpost, everything is powered, repaired and in perfect condition. The space ship port is just transfering tiny amounts each trip now.

I think finding a split biome is slightly better because you don’t have to fast travel between them, but yea….having to find the split biome was a pain in the butt on Xbox

Once you figure it out its not hard at all. Click until you zero in on the area where the biomes converge. Land where you suspect is closest to the border of all 3. whip out your out post placement, scan it around the immediate vicinity until you see all the resources pop up. If you don't find them very close to where you landed then don't go running around on the map trying to find it as this will waste time and be very frustrating. Simply repeat the landing process in a slightly different location (we're talking only pixels apart) from the previous area. It may take a few tries but i guarantee you'll find it in far less time than it will take you to set up multiple bases and get all the cargo links etc set up, not to mention it will be far cheaper and take up one less outpost slot. This is by far the best and most efficient option for your starter outpost. Work smarter not harder.

This is going to be like lock picking. It's going to take a while for you to figure it all out. Once you do, it becomes super easy and worth it. The stumbling block for me was connecting each container to the output link. Going Out to the post that I wanted to.

You could use the "Cargo Link - Inter - System" at the base used for manufacturing and funnel all of the resorces into that to transfer to venus

@@internetexpert8153 the scale at which vendors reset and the resources are produced is based off of the UT which is different based on your planet, Venus has the highest difference at 1 local hour is 100 UT hours, so you just wait 24 hours on Venus and it will be like 2400 hours have passed. You will need lvl 3 of the habitation perk and on Venus it has the resources in 1 area to just make the magnet

I dunno if it's better, but it sure isn't as boring. Just take ur ship, kill every guard outside of jesmine, teleport away and then come back. Rinse and repeat, around 1ton of loot per run, +40K credits (selled loot not included), most of the time even more

I was following this guide. I got to the part where you showed how to scan for resources, then I replicated. I noticed seem to have placed an outpost in between helium and aluminum so I zoomed into the first spot that had both. What are the chances that that's spot that I zoomed into is the exact spot you place your outpost? I look back at the video for reference and you're exactly where I am 😂

I built everything as you did but I am only getting 7 xp per item built. What am I doing wrong? I have built 100 items and haven’t leveled up once since I started. I am lvl 31. Does that matter? But all that came from story and combat. I just started crafting.

You mean you have crafter 100 items? You need to 'mass' craft items, on PC you can click the item line until it shows 99 items to craft

He is also only getting 1 xp per, he’s just building in stacks of 99, hence the 99 xp each time. Hope that helps 😀

If you swap rb with right dpad in the menu binding option i found that to be quicker to get to 99

add in get med packs in the medical sales thing as well as look for ship parts in there that pops up --you get to heal your ships with that

Seems im dumb. You have to go to every storage container and collect the materials ? My Irons farm around 1/4th the speed of my Aluminium wich creates a massive bottleneck ? I wited around 300 hours UT and have full Aluminium and only a handful of Iron My incoming Iron refuses to transfer from incoming storage to the storage containers ?

I dunno if an update changed things or if I hooked something up wrong. For some reason, when I sit and wait at my Helium/Aluminum farm, my Iron storage doesn't get filled by the cargo link. My Iron farm (on the same planet, Andraphon) will produce materials , but the cargo link ship stays in the same location until I stop waiting. I guess they made it so that the cargo link doesn't run while you're sitting/sleeping?! Additionally: The capacity of the cargo link ship is 300. It fills to 299 and then flies from my Iron farm to my He/Al farm. It drops off about 130. WHAT?! Am I *LOSING* resources to the cargo link?!?!?!

i have not had any luck finding a suitable landing spot. i have hit like 8 different places around the mark and now it is hard to pick a spot. i cant seem to find the location of the biomes coming together

Regarding cargo links (non inter system). I am trying to send iron resources from one outpost to another on the same planet, but when I try to link the iron to the outgoing box on my iron outpost, it does not show up at all as outgoing in the console of said outpost. Any suggestions? I have the outgoing box linked to the 30 or so storage containers full of iron. Any help would be appreciated!

At Iron outpost I dont see aluminium as resource but at aluminium output I see all resources being farmed and ready to be used to build storage containers.I need to carry aluminium to Iron site?

My aluminum storage never fills past a certain point even after 3 days on Venus. I've tried deleting and replacing and relinking. Idk what to do 😢 Just tested sleeping on the moon in my ship and it doesn't make a difference in delivery timing. Seems to only deliver in real time.

Why are magnets better than frames, is it only because you haven't found a iron and aluminum planet yet? Or is there something specific about the magnets that intrinsically makes them better?

It is ONLY better if y9u can't find aluminum and iron in the same outpost. Otherwise it's exactly the same. I got u lucky and couldn't find it in the same spot, but you cab.

Question, im playing this on the xbox and i want to know if there is a way to quickly select 99 when crafting? Cause the only thing i found is the right bumper jumps up 5 at a time, or you just hold the dpad over, and i was just wondering if there was a quicker way to select it.
