Starfield - The Very Best Class C Ship You Can Find In Starfield

Consider checking out my Patreon / sinkiller - In this video I'll show you how to get the very best class C ship that isn't purchasable or related to a mission or quest. Has the best stats and ship parts I've seen on any ship that you can steal from the universe :). This ship has better stats then UC Vista and pretty much anything you can buy. Better stats then 90% of ships I'd say. Its valued at over 500,000 for me, making it the most expensive ship I have found. I almost hope there is a better version of this.
Requirements:
Few things to note to get this ship.
1. You need a Class C License to pilot this beast.
2. Star Ship Design Rank 4 might be required as nearly all the main components require Rank 4 Star Ship design (TBC)
3. Rank 1 Targeting System Perk is required so we can hit the engine and grav drive in order to dock with this ship and take it over by force.
4. Visiting planets & moons over level 60 will most likely increase your chances of running into the better versions.
5. This is a random event so its not a for sure thing. May take time and multiple attempts
Notes:
1.Not sure if there are any level requirements I'm pretty sure there isn't but do note I'm level 75 when finding this ship.
2. This ships is completely random so it will take time to get it. Seems likes its more commonly found in orbits where there is stuff floating around in orbit, for example stuff like all the metal junk,debris and asteroids.
3. Technically this ship should be able to be found in nearly any system I believe but more likely found in higher level systems. I suggest starting with Masada because we know for sure it spawns there.
4. I'm not sure how this will impact none main quest line companions. Main question companions will be furious at you and it may impact your chances at getting lucky with them ;) . Other companions may hep out if they are evil alignment or possibly neutral . Beyond that I'm not sure. Let me know in the comments if you do.

I have run across this guy multiple times (I think the first time was ~level 65 or so) and never gave a second thought to pirating the ship, lol. Just thought it was just another random space encounter and I kept trying different conversation combinations to see if it would spark a different outcome. I too have heard this voice while chasing pirates from the mission boards did not realise a single point in the right skill will enable me to target the grav drive. I do seem to find Vruun ships have landed while building bases. But the registration was 61000 credits and it’s only worth 73000 to sell. I do keep them to have a different experience in space battles. Thanks for the update dude peace.

Cheers . Same system Masada 2, got me a Trader Highlander III, with 40 Reactor, 1500 shields ( 2500 with my skill buff ) and 189 PAR. 29 laser, 40 BAL. Its a beast for a trader ship and looks cool as hell, first time Ive seen it and I am level 72. A keeper, going to modify it. Also the Valentine Renegade, looks super sexy, probably best looking ship in game. I also scored another Valentine ship in the Masada system, same model as Abys Trekker , red, white and blue, wasn't a roman numeral version so sold it. Looked cool though I saw my first IV rated ship today after hitting level 70, so hopefully more IV from now on. *Pro tip. Build a Masada base with large ship platform and a Sol base with large ship platform - It allows you to fast travel even in a damaged ship to immediate safety, where you can repair, modify or change ships. Even if grav drive not powerful enough, you can jump from far away, to and from, directly to bases.

When starship hunting in those deep space systems 20+ LYs out I cannot stress this enough... CARRY THE MATS TO BUILD A LANDING PLATFORM. It is possible if you take a ship, swap to it and then be stranded. This gives you the ability to drop a platform swap your ships.

If you make it your home ship, (dont need to register to do that) and then just fast travel to new atlantis or any other spaceport, you dont need to carry those mats

Ummmm pretty sure all of those fat out planets are hazardous environments so you need a higher lvl skill to even build their in the first place. But yes that happened to me and took me like 2 hours to finally figure out how to get back. Had to select mission and grav jump 🤷🏻‍♂️

So if you have swapped to it you won't be able to fast travel to a port at all i was stuck in the Masada system with a 5 LY pos. Had to reload prior save. Just saying if your at 20+ly jumps from sector to sector have the mats to build a landing pad or make sure to save and check the LY before you take off with that ship. And check the moons you can find some that are not extreme.

That Valentine is a stock UC Voyager III. If you feel bad taking the Valentine, you can pirate the "Unknown" insurance salesman ship. Same ship as Valentine.

You can also find an identical ship to this only with different colors when you farm high end ships in the Masala system by going to a planet and waiting for ship landings. Might need to save and reload a couple of times but works like a charm AND you get no big bounty.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ No particular planet. It should, however be a planet you land for the first time because for me that had a guarantee of ship landings spawning. Make sure you use the auto-save from the landing when you exit the ship to reset which ship spawns. If you do a manual quick-save the ship might already be determined and it will be the same.

U can buy the same ship, from Vendor specifically from Neon. Names as Voyager III, but VERY VERY rare to get, you have to check regularly. Btw that's my home ship now after using Narwhal.

I believe you only need Piloting since the Razorleaf from the Mantis quest line has parts that would require higher Starship Design ranks but is flyable by everyone.

Your 100% correct. Its only rank 4 required unless you want to get your hands dirty and redesign the ship with better parts.

I found this ship (Spawned lvl 72) when I was at lvl 40 and had piloting skill lvl 4. Since it is a civilian ship I boarded it solo so as not to piss off my human companions. When it was all said and done I owed the Freestar Collective 151k in bounty fees. 😁 The engines and the reactor made it all worthwhile!

Hi SiNKiLLeR, i guess the level of the ship depends on the player's level. After watching your videos I boarded the Valentine which turned out to be a UC Voyager (plain, you can tell it by the reactor at 27). I was level 75 at that time (well, not so long ago, it was last week). Cheers

Space encounters are pretty damm random. Technically you could get a mk 3 at level 1 but its very rare. As you lvl up you should see more mk 3 landing but for space its going to mostly be the same chances with a bit more of a chance of getting mk 3s.

Just a slight correction, you can get a UC Vista from a vendor, its just random though as you may have to refresh the store inventory by waiting. I was able to pick one up in Cydonia ship services. Don't know if its level dependent as I was 60+.

Same area. Got an autobahn 3. 625k registration was just over 60k. Bounty racked up as killed off the UC crew but cleared with death of the (last witness). . Just used EM weapons to disable and then boarded it 👍

Autobahn 3 is decent for sure. Was it in orbit or landed? I thought you couldn't get the 'killed last witness' when in orbit. Damm thats a heavy rego. Did you do it in your own menu and not the technicians?

It was in orbit when I came across it. . Used a stronghold with EM whilst turning off its turrets. First ship I've actually taken in orbit so don't know the ins and outs of last witness. Added to the collection since. Ecliptic Claymore 3 and one of the big Galbank transports. A something 2. Can't remember the name. That one did put a bounty on me. Basically been traveling from planet to planet in orbit and the spawns have been very regular and consistently better than anything I have previously seen on the surface. Just kept the big boys and sold anything else and that's paid for the registration fees for everything to date 👍

Well, that is the best cargo ship reactor or for an all around build, B class has a 39 energy one, with way less mass for small fighter builds. I spent time over preparing before going in my final ng+, so lvl 320+, still useful info to me, since it saves me time. Now i can save everyone and be a hero, but also steal everything that isn't bolted down xD.

I managed to capture a Lvl 65 Freestar space Ox II(or III) when I was Lvl 25 myself!! (Sam and Sarah where so mad at me after, lol) I've changed almost every thing about it except grav, reactor(36 power) and the shield(1000 shield). I have spent over 400K upgrading it every couple of level-ups, needless to say it's a beast. now I know why some people put everything they earn into their cars.

Wow epic journey with your beast ship. There is something there its hard not to get attached to the hard work you put into your ships. So you had no porlbems getting a level 65 Freestar at Lvl 25 so it does seem like levels don't matter at all just the piloting skill.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ My frontier was very good and upgraded, plus Space Ox II wasn't hostile(it was a Freestar ship). I got behind it and didn't hail it, I started taking its shield out, and by the time it turned around to attack me, I was already targeting it's systems. It got 5 seconds to attack me before I boarded it and in that 5 seconds my ship was almost gone. I got reeeeaaaally lucky. plus it wasn't a military ship so the crew was low-level and easy to deal with. Exploring high level areas in this game is so rewarding and fun! unlike other games, this game doesn't level lock you, doesn't matter how weak you are, if you are smart and lucky you can take on high-level areas.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ I was Lvl 27 when I went to a Lvl 70 system and found a drifting ship. everyone on the ship was dead because of a mutating alien. The Alien was so high level (I think around Lvl60 or something) It took everything I had to kill it. It was so stressful and fun. This random event was meant to be experienced when you're very low level, cuz if you're high level, there's nothing to be worried about. This game is a gold mine and it's not stopping anytime soon!

Spacer Hyena 3 and Crimson Fleet Wight 3 are also some of best candidates for the 40-point reactor, but you'd have to modify those ships to your needs for them to be better.

No one ever mentions the ((Aneutronic Fusion)) skill under the Science category. This is for your ships Reactors. Max out this skill and your ships reactor produces 5 extra units of power. It's one thing to steel a ship another to upgrade and build ships. You can steel class C ships even on very easy mode piloting them requires you meet the skill set required. In order to upgrade your ships engines and grav this skill along with maxing out every skill under the Tech category very important. Just hang around the Serpentes System on very easy. Travel from planet to moon wait 30 seconds Va'Ruun,crimson Fleet,Ecliptic,Spacers and Starborn ships of all skill levels show up as you travel from planet to moon around the serpentes system. Destroy them collect the goods, land, sleep with your companion to gain an additional 15% extra xp take off and do it again or or exit the ship while landed and wait for the sonic boom and go steel a ship. You will skill up very just and apply those points where needed.

My working theory is that you need to be at or above level at which all the parts contained in a ship are unlocked to pilot it. Yes, parts are also level locked. Yes, it is another thing that was not documented in any way by Bethesda. Theory is based on my ability to take take over Ecliptic Cutlass, after being unauthorised to do so before. Only variable that has changed I could identify was my current character level.

You definitely don't need to be at the level to get the parts to pilot a ship, I captured a Spacer Hyena III at lvl 30 which has the 40 power reactor and some other nice parts that aren't normally available till lvl 60. The trick is you need to be in the high level systems to find ships to capture with high level parts in them. Do note there are lots of ships that are hard coded not to capturable (pretty much all the freestar ships you find on the ground at landing sites won't let you capture them even if you board and clear them out for example).

Shindia is correct. I captured two 40 power reactors (hyena III and the pirate or spacer version of the se ship) at about level 15. This reactor requires level 60 to buy, if I recall. These ships also have high level weaponry and other parts.

I got a uc vista 3 and a crimson wright 3 in the space of ten minutes. The vista 3 literally had zero people inside just allowed me to walk in and take off with zero bounty or effort lol then i landed in the exact same spot to do a the same quest and the Wright 3 landed and best thing it was like 250 metres away from my landing spot so not even like i run far. That was probably the best luck ive had with ships

You only need rank 4 to build them. But if you get a ship with tier 4 parts you can still fly it. Just don't remove them.

I think it's more that a few parts/ships are locked by the player's level - If you can't see the parts or the ship never comes into the vendor, check player level.

Yo there is a much easier way to do this using an outpost and a landing pad with shipyard. You can reset the shipyard stock without leaving the planet. Fastest way to buy ships nearly. Worth looking up.

The Mk. III seems to be a match overall. Not sure if it is a module-for-modufe match, but overall stats match. Again, approx lvl 75 (72??) I'm not sure why everyone thinks the Narwhal is the most expensive. Plenty of ships for sale over 500k credits at high levels. ; )

Yes, a voyager III. I got it too, and the internal layout is bad. I replaced or added a few rooms, more engines, a different reactor, put the bridge at the front of the ship and replaced the landing bay by another one with a ladder, so most of the usefull things (workstations, laboratory, search station, bed) are now on the same floor.

You only need piloting level 4 to fly any ship, the only reason to get starship design is if your building and modifying a ship, otherwise it is useless. If you can't pilot a ship it is ether because the game won't let you or you do not have rank 3 for B class and rank 4 for C class in piloting.

I've been to this location 4 times now trying to find this ship and nothing. But, every time I go I get attacked by pirates, bounty hunters (I have the "Wanted" trait which is AWESOME!), and Crimson Fleet. My current ship is a former Crimson Fleet Wraith III.....which turns out is on par with this ship. Worth $479k but has the top-of-the-line shield, good turrets, and components, which is really what you are looking for when going after ships. It was foolish enough to attack me and now it's mine. But, I was in a Class-A and was woefully under leveled to take it on and it killed me 5 times in a row before I lowered the game difficulty enough for me to be able to defeat it....those darn turrets are brutal!!! If you haven't boarded a high tier, massive ship, before.....it's a fun fight once you get inside the ship. I must have had to kill 15+ enemy crew members to get the ship cleared to take it over. Now I didn't see these until I had my Ship Design was at lvl 2, so maybe that's why UC Vista isn't showing up for me. I also think I might lose my companions if I kill a bunch of UC and take their ship, you might want to wait until NG+ to go after this. Anyone know???

How did you go any luck yet? I would try switch to another 75 system and travel to each moon and then another until I find it. Masada is a good starting point but not the be all end all for this ship unfortunately. Wow you stole a wicked good ship already and going from A class A that would of been a hell of a fight. Don't worry I lower game difficulty to when I need to. That situation called for it for sure. I'm still not 100% sure why ships don't spawn and maybe ship design has something to do with it. Most companions wont attack with you but they don't leave either they just get angry. I hope you find this ship and have some luck soon. Cheers :)

@@SiNKiLLeR_ After many, many, many trips and 5 C-Class ships later......it finally spawned. But my luck is shit and it was a basic one, not the upgraded specially painted version. I saved my game before attacking it, as I still am playing the first playthrough, and it instantly pissed off every NPC on my ship when I attacked! Once the fight was over and I checked the stats, it was less than a $400k ship with just ho-hum guns and parts. I reloaded the game and let her fly on past..... I ran into this ship again, well not actually the same ship, and it was named the same, sang the song, and same NPC interraction....but, it was a different ship entirely! Still, not the extra special rare one shown in the video. What I did find out though, the Class C ship I commandeered in the story I laid out in my original post is actually a rare version of it as well....special paint and top tier parts and guns.

2:15 for you wondering about unable to access ships for no reason, i have seen in other videos that there is a bug causing this. It has something to do with Either the "Mett Emma Wilcox" Mission or you Editing your ship at "the Den" in the wolf system. I heard that a fix for it is to reload a save when you WERE able to enter a ship, and continue from there. (Sorry if you got really far ahead). I have no other information about this bug.

I think your right for sure. The Valentine however is one of the rare encounters that can spawn as any ship at any level. I could wrong here but that's my understanding. It also might spawn higher mk ships more regularly the higher level you are. For ship spawns on the ground it definitely seems like its lvl locked.

There is an even better ship, and it's called Trader Highlander III. It's the Stronghold but with a 40 Power Reactor. Stats are 2200 fuel, 1578 shields, 1508 hull, 2360 cargo, 2013 mass, and so many auto turrets that do insane damage (27 Lasers, and 172 para) With a stealth build you wont have a bounty or much cheaper.

I guess it depends on what your wanting to do. I think its much cheaper to use this ship and then you can add and mod it how ever you want. Its a great base to start from. Yer since its a random spawn you will get hit and missing but traveling to another system and then jumping between the moons and planets in Masada should mean it spawns at some point for you. Level's shouldn't matter from other peoples comments. Its just the random luck of it all.

Hey SiNKiLLeR, I had a thought about the 'killed the last witness, so no bounty' mechanic. If you bring any of your companions to board the ship and kill the civvies, doesn't that make them a witness you can't clear? Heck, here's another thought: If you have a companion on board when you attack a civvie ship doesn't that already make them a witness you can't clear? I also wonder if there's a difference between 'Crew' and 'Companion assigned as crew' when you attack civvie ships? Anyways, if you orbit board solo, kill all crew (and if it's applicable, destroy all turrets) do you then get the 'you've killed all the crew so there's no witnesses, so no bounty' message?

Yo so that would make perfect logical sense and I should have thought about it like that. Strange enough I tried boarding a ship without a companion and I still got a bounty. I wasn't sure if having crew on my own ship counts as witnesses. I haven't tested the killing all turrets. I'll give that a try and see how it works.

Your ability to fly depends on the reactor. If your ship has reactor C then you need pilot 4.

Like everyone else, I was learning the game at that time but had a good amount of credits. I picked one of the fleet not knowing they were friendly to me now; they don't attack members. After I did that and was caught they wanted to fight so Sarah and I wiped out the whole base. I get back to the Crimson base to complete a challange and the guy stops me and says pay him 45k. I said NO! and he attacked me. I killed everything that came through the door and excaped. Then saw the bounty of 271k LMAO!! I eventually cleared it.

Ahh damm. Make sure you kill any turrents as well. i think in those situations you might be able to jump to another planet in that system and come straight back and then the lost crew should spawn in the ship. Also in activities you can set the current one to kill the crew to get there location.

I'm lv 110 and have Starship design rank 2, but piloting rank 4. So the The Valentine was only lv 48 Class C ship not the same design. Also found the The Valentine in a Symra lv 55. In this case The Valentine was only lv 18 ship Class B. Different versions of the ship are out their. Find if I stay with close range on other systems near Masada Valentine is easy to find. Update: Well got to Starship Design rank 3 The Valentine lv 54 Class C Abyss Trekker with more power and less value. Chased for 6 hrs went to New Atlantis sure enough the are selling Voyager 3 for 470k+ . Wow!

Yo bro, Yer so the Valentine can be a tricky one to spawn the Voyager 3 as Valentine in nature can spawn as almost any ship. Masada seems to be a good system for it to trigger but still tough one to crack. C Abyss Trekker is still a decent find. Yer Voyager 3is major expensive even with the Commerce perk . No from my understanding lifetime bounty figure can't be changed its the total of all your bounties that have existed. Does not clear the murders either. Why do you ask are you trying to avoid those both?

If it was 62 it would have been the MK II of Voyagers or another ship depending what it looked like. Voyagers can be common once your a high level and have like with the spawn pool rotations.

It is and it does have better parts. If I was doing ng+ I would grab this asap but I'm wondering if there is any addition conditions like level requirements but I don't think there is. Would levels even matter in ng+? Is another question I have. I like to do the same thing at the moment. Nice modding a decent ship to your liking.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ as far as i know only piloting and starship design are relevant, even starship design is not if you dont want to modify the ship with parts that need it. but many parts are also locked behind player level. im very much into the shipbuilding, have all 10 slots used, its very financially demanding to keep them all up-to-date since im not level 60 yet so not all parts are unlocked but i love every one of them.
