Thanks for the tips, in previous Bethesda games over writing saves could lead to corrupt saves. I typically create new saves but periodically delete older saves, only keeping my save from when I first get to the Lodge (in case I want to start over) & and the newest couple of saves.

Thanks for the Tips. I always clear all my saves at the end of each game, and just have 1 hard save when I start. I fear to have a corrupted save 😮

Most of these tips are pretty solid but did that lady just say that L-3 to Sprint felt unnatural and she swapped it to B? Is an L3 the sprint button on basically every game that has Sprint

Easier to push 2 buttons instead of three for Starborn powers and movement. Yes swapping to B to run is better for THIS game, which is why I suggested it but thanks for trying to be clever.

Also, Not sure about overwriting a hard save, a clean save has been recommended most.

Clean save when starting a new game you mean. There is no way to have a "clean save" mid game. Make a hard save the beginning of your play session each time. Make another gameplay save while you are playing, which you want to overwrite. Dont make more. should be...hard save when you start...make a different save for play, quicksave when you want, but always overwrite your quicksave each time, repeat each session. delete the old saves from last session with new ones...if thats what you mean, and yes, what you should do.

Nice on the planet names. I just found out that if i drop, let's say 500 iron it becomes part of the furniture and does not take space in cargo hold. And my 2 bits of iton are still in the same place i left them and can pickup them up too. Guess the cargo habs now can make sence. Also if i run out of meds just summon my duplicate and steall his life...😂

Hey great info! Do the legendary effects on the Xeno armor re roll as well if you save before acquiring? I read they were static

The fist one will re roll if you quicksave before you pick it up. The ones that spawn after do not. They will be the roll you selected.

Uh oh. I think I may have a corrupted save on Xbox. When I sell a ship, my game crashes every time whoever the vendor or ship tech is. Sold off tons of stuff & turned off all auto saves but still no luck. I got an error message once but it vanished b4 I could write it down. Any suggestions?

It could be any little error, or could be a bug. There are so many moving parts, and autosaves do things like save before all items have loaded, that can cause problems. also autosaves will save while scripts are running, while regular save saves the game at "rest" sort of speak, so less chance of corrupting your save with errors. Best advice, just leave auto off, and don't quicksave. Its a pain to have to remember to hard save, but trust me it will extend the life of your game save.

So i put in 120hrs on my main character when the game came out (i made half a dozen others for role playing reasons like Riddick and Patrick Bateman). Ive seen theres been quite a few changes since the first month or so. What do you recommend for setting because all those options weren't a thing back at launch.

It depends on your play style. I am leaning towards melee and food buffs. I increased enemy buff for space combat because I want longer more tactical battles. Its really up to you. 😁😎🚀🚀

It has been a while since i played. But tried waitng. And doing other missions to get respawn to work. But it is not respawning there.

Try 72 hours, or spending an hour on Venus. The game counts from the time you leave the location. You may have gone back to early? Give this a try and let me know how it goes. Definitely works. I've outfitted my entire crew this way. Let me know!😁😁

Auto-save caution! Good call. Def gonna use your button map. Quick question: “Sprint” overlaps “Back” on the B-button during Outpost control. Game even issues an alert. Do you notice any problems?

@@Rulfio If you mean the all black one, that is the NG Plus 10 Starborn armor. You will get different versions and colors each time you go through NG Plus. That one I am wearing is the maxed one. Hope that helps 😁😁

The best tip I could give you is to find more things to do with your time. Seems like you have too much "free space" to spend trolling games you don't like. Go outside and touch some grass and get off my timeline.

At forward base 411, everything but xeno can be found anytime and respawns every 600 ut hours. You can save scan if you want by saving before landing

@@Vanguard.Warship.Voyager Thanks Vanguard on the correct hours for the loot. I believe the Xeno may be 72? I need to do more testing. Its always a fresh Xeno and base is fully restocked whenever I stop in there. I have so many now I use the backpacks and Xeno armors for my crew and to decorate mannequins. My apologies on the fogginess of the amount of time. If anyone finds out or tests for the exact time, it would be appreciated! Thanks Vanguard!

Oh snap, didn't think of that because I don't throw grenades. I'm thinking it swaps with Starborn LB RB. I'm not where I can turn the game on. Might be a bummer to have to press 2 buttons to throw, but if you don't use your powers much, you may want to keep it the way it is. I use mine all the time for movement and combat. thank you for this comment. Might help others pick if they want to switch depending on their playstyle. 👍🏽👍🏽

@@skyriminspace The only problem is there is still a bug that disables reload speed perks if you have throwables equipped. For that reason I don't keep them equipped and it's too much of a pain to flip back and forth most of the time. I use them most of the time when I'm taking over a ship's cockpit so I don't have to climb a ladder into the middle of a bunch of bad guys.

@@dkindig ah, that is unfortunate! Hopefully these things are ironed out & if not it will be in the community patch once the ck is released. Me personally, i like my reloads as slow as possible. I play with sustenance set to positive & negative & deliberately do not eat or drink to further debuff my character & make gameplay more challenging. One of the best things for me is a 25% reduction in reload speed for being dehydrated!

Yes. Keep an eye on how long it takes when you hit quicksave or save. If it takes as long as a loading screen to save, you got problems. I always take it as a sign to chill with the placeables lol.

@SistaCitizen I'm not sure if this method is the cause of it, but after disabling all my autosave stuff. I ended up with a bug, and I haven't had any issues with this character up until today. My home ship I had built from another ship before hand disappeared and changed back to the original form/ship. I have no idea what happened, but I lost that ship in a sense. Edit; I've noticed no change in my loading screen time.

@SistaCitizen naw I only have 3 basic outposts built with this character, which is at level 47. And I didn't delete the save with the ship, I had made this ship last weekend. It just, bugged out I guess. Idk wth happened. I've been trying to recreate that same ship I had made that disappeared going back to it's original form. I remembered 80% of it lol.
