Okay so you wipe out an entire category at a time with the respec terminal. If you try to reapply skill points later I'm assuming you would have to do all the challenges again as well, correct? If so, then wiping an entire category would be a royal pain if you only wanted to respec a single skill or two in that tree.

There is one function that I would love as base game or mod. A way to save ship blueprints so I don't need to remember my parts between saves or ng+ runs.

Yup, I currently have them saved on my phone notes. A layer by layer picture drawn on graph paper and typed out bullet points of specific parts. It’s time consuming and geeky af lol. clicking a button and having it saved would be much appreciated.

Darkstar is an amazing mod I've got 8100 shields it's got amazing ship weapons and shielded cargo and cargo holds, plus engines for game changing 5 star mod

(Xbox) I love the Mini Modules mod. You can add weapons mounts to your ship and remove all you engines, grav drive, shield, and fuel tanks. There's even some that give you 800 plus cargo as well as one that allows your ship to hover above ground. No more landing pads needed. So awesome to see your ship go from zero to 2,000.

I would like to take a second to thank The mighty INQUISITOR of INQUISITOR OVERHAULS for the many, many excellent mods they have shared with all of us starved for content Xbox players! (In both Stsrfield and Fallout 4!) ( 2 of the very few modded games on console that I am aware of.)Their mods have given us countless hours of fun and excitement, nevermind all of the awesome features and content that they have bettered our favorite games with! Their work and passion is very much appreciated! Especially at the very start of Xbox's starfield creation club, when we needed it most! Not to offended any other amazing folks who were so quick to upload great creations to Xbox, but the mod selection would have started off very shy if it wasn't for Inquisitor sacrificing their rest to rapidfire us fresh great uplaods!! Thank you to any and all who share their creations! Honestly, the mods are better than the games their ported on!! Oh and btw, starfield could really use some new men's hairs styles, and some cats, lots of cats, space cats!! But I know it's all on its way!!

The ship building on the xbox does have a size issue, but its a little more complicated. The ships' effect on performance is actually based on the number of parts used with Habs being the largest stress on the performance. Leaving the ship center hollow and number of habs low, performance doesnt really take to much of a hit. It can also help if you use the empty habs or occasionally sell all misc items. I have a huge ship and my frames hold at 40 fps in places like atlantis/neon and 55-60 fps in other locations.

I hope the mods keep coming having 100 GB to work with on this game is insane we could get some massive mods and content. so different than what I'm used to I'm used to having 2 GB or 5 at most on Skyrim and Fallout 4.

I would say the recommended size would to not exceed is 45 -48m in this range ships do not clip in the the landing pads. 50m is a hard limit with minimal clipping. Anything past 50 and you are clipping into everything

Would love that, maybe just a crew list with a "take me to them" button. With a reference ID for the crew member you could just do a "move to" command and you're done. I generally build no-ladder or one-ladder ships so they're not overly large but it's a pain looking for them sometimes. I swear that they spawn in behind you sometimes while you're searching for them.

I'm really happy that we have mods on console but..... The Avon Tech Ship engines are a bit wonky. When you turn the ships slow down, and when you hit your thrusters, it puts the ship in reverse. I love all the new parts, but I just can't use the engines. Another minor thing is the grav drive and reactor are not "standard" length. Other than those things, I'm loving the new stuff!

CAN ANYONE HELP? Easier ship build mod (all parts available at new atlantis) worked on one game i played. Started a new one and it no longer works 🤷‍♂️ spent 3 hours trying to figure out how or why with no luck 😭

There are one or two ship mods that will cancel that out. You can try put it last on your load order. Also try uninstall, exit game, startup & load into game, save game, install mod and loading into game again. Some other things to consider If your on xbox go to the app on the home screen > highlight the starfield app > press start > manage game and addons > data > delete the bottom file That should do the trick Also, after deleting the data, if your dealing with a lot of mods and experiencing issue. You can sign in to the website creations.bethesda.net/en/starfield/all?sort=created_at Head to library and delete the mod you think that is causing the issue Then you can go back on to the creations store on the game > press options > download all creations in my library It should download all the mods again that you have installed so you dont have to redownload them individually I find managing and installing mods from the website a lot easier than through the creations store. Then when i’m in game i just download all creations from my library in the creations store, which downloads and installs the mods ive added via the website

One of the mods uses a level lock sytem and even if you have the mod many things like shields, reactors, and grav-drives won't fully unlock till level 25.

I would like to know from a modders perspective. How difficult would it be to implement custom ship interiors. I want to be clear, say I wanted the millennium falcon. Would it be possible to make an un customizable ship with the exact layout.

Not yet but as soon as there is ill cover it. Your best bet is the Dark Star Atrodynamics as that does have a 2 pre made ships you can get.

I downloaded the Avon parts and the mod that allows a bigger ship diameter. One of these two have caused my game to glitch(Xbox x). I can’t access most of my ships in my garage. It pops up to a waiting screen and never shows the ship. Luckily I’m able to exit the screen but I’ve tried several times and it won’t download the ships. I’m stuck with my main ship. Can’t get to the others. 😢 I’ll have to delete both mods.

Perhaps the load oder. Make sure to travel to a new system or location and return before anything. That can help load things in. I would also try one mod at a time and then switch them to find out which one is the issue. Ill keep an eye for anyone else having the issue and solution.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ Double checked and the order was correct so I ended up disabling the larger diameter mod. Reset it, then allowed it to only work with the other 2 I have, the patch(first) and avion parts(2nd). I proceeded to my current save and checked my ships. I now can access all my ships again and lost nothing. Phew 😮‍💨 Thanks for the guidance.

Ship command perk is bugged for me which is a bummer as it's one of two final Steam achievements for a full house & I spent hours going from one system to another either dogfighting or boarding ships to later find out it can be bugged, I don't know if console commands disable the achievement on steam so I never tried.

Ill be happy with a mod that allows parts to rotate on the horizontal plane. Which will make wing designs on fighters so much easier. Doubt that will happen though with how tough it could be to code

Most disable achievements. There are a few that say “achievement-friendly” but not many. So just assume they will disable achievements unless it says otherwise.

A ship mod I would really like to see, and if it's already out there someone please tell me. I hate when I change home ship all the cargo goes with. This makes no sense to me, I want my cargo ship to hold my cargo, my fighter to be a fighter and so on. A mod that lets you leave the cargo on the ship you stored it in, and lets you move cargo between ships without having to change home ships. I find it to be the biggest immersion breaking part of ships and ship building. And no, the mod that adds more cargo space is not the answer. I want each ship to have a purpose, a roll that I use it for.

Anyone else sick of having to rely on modders to fix the dumb decisions these big companies make, would be super cool if modders could focus on adding new and fresh content instead of having to work so hard to make default game bits more palatable/playable, like easing building for ships and removing the restriction for placement and invalid positioning, having to remove that RIDICULOUS zoom function in ship builder, the size limit.....length limit...ect ect, anyways, I dont build ships without these mods now, well done creators!

There are far better mods, even if some are now also available from Nexus in the Creation Store I hope it won't be like Fallout 4 where people used Nexus and put it in the Creation Club so that many modders deleted their mods.
