On EXTREME ALL mode is like a different game, you need to plan each step, avoid fighting heavy ships until you get lvl 60 and get acess to all systems, and even so, you need a lot of focus. NPCs take 4 times LESS dam but inflict on you 4x MORE dam ! Another significant change, for those who, like me, love to board & capture ships: Now you CANNOT return to your ship - the moment you click on "make this main ship", your "old" ship instantly disappear, to Hangar - no way to catch her back and board back. Now you are forced to return to a base or a ship vendor in order to get back your old ship. All in all, BEST update since the launching, last year - and YES you can have 10 000 storage in a light ship, class A, or in Starborn Guardian, just by building containers inside ! Put names using the new buildable letters, like I did ( containers for Iron, AL, Cu, etc) and you can carry all your loot with you even in small ships - best part of this great update !

Ok I have heard multiple people state that ships disappear after docking so sound like its not actually a bug but something they added to the game for some reason. I am going to try an all EXTREME playthrough one of these days! Just got back from vacation so need to do some more testing!

The increased vendor credit does work as intended by the update, it is not bugged. The increased vendor credits does not apply to ship techs.

You can also fast travel to any location that you’ve already visited when you’re on a planet so each store you visit it unlocks fast travel capabilities

don't know why it teleports you outside of the location though. That just means yet another loading screen to enter it

Yeah I was messing around with that later on. Its a pretty cool feature. Like the other comment stated it would be nice if they teleported us inside the shops instead of outside.

The greatly increased vendor credit can definitely be seen at the trade authority and weapons vendors

I apparently needed to sleep for 48 hours to get it show up. I guess they don't want people changing the setting to instantly increase their credits.

I don't think the vendor credits is a bug. You just need to reload the level for the change to update, but you've probably figured that out already.

For the planets you must go on and "extreme" one, you'll have nightmares, the spacesuit will finish it's protection in like 3 minutes, i put back the old setup, only for the spacesuits of course 😅

I thought for sure Venus would be extreme. I guess its not accurate to our universe! Haha. Yeah I tried a different planet. IT WAS INTENSE 😂

Its pretty solid. Im not going to sit here and be like its better than Skyrim of FO4 but its also not as bad as the internet is making it out to be.

To steal a UC or Freestar ship planetside Don’t board the ship, you may walk into the landing bay and even use your pointer on the entry hatch to ID the ship type and class but Don’t board it at this time. Walk away from the ship, you may walk a minimum of 250 feet away and place down an outpost beacon to identify the location of the ship, if you believe that you won’t be able to easily find it again. Go back to your ship and travel to New Atlantis, go to the Constellation Lodge and sleep for 72 hours, then go back and board that ship and steal it. This method works guaranteed upwards of 98% of the time. Very rarely will it not work. Sometime you can just fly back to a planet like Venus or Copernicus or Katydid and just sleep for 6 hours, then fly back and take that UC or Freestar ship just as if you slept at the Lodge. Be careful Not to sleep too long on those type planets because sometimes, if you slept too much, the ship landing resets and you may find a lesser or different ship at that location instead. The safest and surest way is just to go sleep that 72 hours at the Lodge.

@circuitscore a KZbinr by the name StandardFries has a video out on claiming POI's by using an outpost beacon. The video is called How to Set Up An Outpost Beacon On A POI! (NO MODS). If a vanguard ship has landed at a POI and you claim the POI you may be able to claim the vanguard ship as well.

@@circuitscore If the outpost beacon glitch should not work anymore, you can use a mod that lets you build and decorate anywhere. Even in the cities. So that to should let you take over POIs and possibly take the ships as well. The mod is called Build & Decorate Anywhere by LBGSHI

For this Series S player the update is causing serious lagging and crashing at the detailed cities. At Akila City trying to load ship services leads to crashes.

@@circuitscore Bethesda responded in a support ticket. They need me to upload a save (any of them since the update) where the issue occurs. I suspect it will be fixed ultimately in a patch.

I can't see or tell the difference...the game has been perfect all along...what matters are bugs...nothing else...fix the bugs so it doesn't crash or interfere with the game ...I don't mind a little blur in the game or even choppy game play....this is a great game and always has been.

On X I found myself locked into the ship screen when accessing it docked to my home ship making the new ship my home ship. Also, the old home ship despawns immediately. Not sure if that's a feature or a bug - so you can't switch back. But it happens on planets too.

I had this problem as well. Instead of making the ship my home ship, I just unlocked and flew it to a space port to register it, and it became my home ship.
