Don't throw stuff away, find a vendor and sell it for credits. Credits are hugely important later in the game. Vasco can carry items as you find them, up to his mass limit and, when you get back to your ship, you can store items in the cargo hold.

Brad when you’re on atlantis you can take your helmet off so you don’t run low on O2. If you see the NPC’s walking around without helmets it’s a good sign that you can do the same

I recommend building an outpost Brad Becuase as the game progresses it’s going to be really hard to go forward with lower tier weapons/attachments it’s an RPG and will punish you if you aren’t treating it like one

If you put all of your resources in your cargo hold it will automatically pull it from your cargo hold and you don't have to hold onto it

You can't tell me they aren't extremely similar. Never said obsidian didn't develop the game, but Bethesda is a very strong influence and they flicked the first domino with these open world RPGs

Interesting one. The bank. I don't know what skill trees they have, but in Fallout 4 you needed charisma in order to use certain dialog options for success. I think you chose the hardest options with no ability to persuade. Also, in the bank some stealth skills like sneak and maybe mods to your weapons like a silencer could have helped, but you managed. Over all, interesting episode. Thanks Brad.

The way persuasion works in starfield is kind of unique as the choices are your tone of voice the skill only makes it easier to succeed you don't need the skill in order to get through that mission with just dialogue you just have to know how to read people/situations but because that situation is tense starting with the nice dialogue option builds trust, switching to threats escalates it more so you as the player have to find that balance

You can store in your ship. You probably discovered this by now, but: Bethesda In Starfield, you can freely store and withdraw items from your ship's inventory cargo. An alternative method is to enter the Ship Menu by pressing TAB/Start and then selecting Ship in the bottom left. From here you can access the Cargo Hold as long as you are in close proximity to your ship.

If you want a vendor they'll probably be in the commercial district. There was another option. Let them go to your ship and deal with them once the hostages are released.

You should really do some side missions. I find them more fun and overall better than the main story. You can also sell your things at the yellow poll thing where you park your ship. The engineer stands next to it.
