I REALLY did wish we could tour our ship from within 'ship builder' to see what they're like from the interior. Loading in and out of ship builder each time to change small tings is SUCH a pain!! Loved the vid, liked and subbed👍

I've been looking at these pieces in the 30 mins I have free each evening after work. Hadn't had a chance to see the bridge modules yet, they look amazing & I will definitely have to plan a ship around one when I next have the time. Thank you for this showcase

I had to get that mod that lets you have large ships to fit everything, and it turns out, I missed some parts trying to make it where I can traverse the inside without getting lost.😊😜

There are two more really cool parts of this mod. You have the battle stations with the retractable cannons, and the cargo lifts. The battle stations are similar to the shield room and reactor room where your weapons retract when not in use. The cargo lifts are good cargo holds, but they have a cool lift that deploys when you are landed as if you have cargo being loaded. It's mostly a role play thing, but they look great. Both are pretty awesome visually. This is one of my favorite hab mods though. There are some great interior spaces in this one.

I love his mods but the two issues I have encountered with using them on PC - especially the BIG 2 level bridge is the game lag and performance issues. Have not encountered lag with the starborn cockpit though. The second issue is that if you add decorations to cockpit, habs or bridge - they disappear after leaving the ship in some cases and in other cases they disappear if you make any ship modifications in the ship builder ; even if it is just to the structure like changing paint or adding cargo . I have talked to some other folks that have used the V3 brdige and habs and have had the same thing occur. The modder is aware and states he wild look into it . Really hope he can find a fix as I want to use this mod . I created an amazing bar in the observation deck and it is just over the top fantastic. Thanks for highlighting this cheers

@@MBINFANTRYBb really frustrating, spent a long time building it. Went back to finally decorate some of the empty Habs only to have it all disappear when changing paint and cargo. Then went back to a previous save to try and change out the cockpit and same thing happened.

I agree the habs are HUGE. What I do is just use a few pieces.

the new Cockpit wont show up till you are level 95 but the Moder is addressing that and will be lowering the level requirements when he releases his next patch

I think that has to do with the perks, per another commentor, the modder is looking to lower those requirements, if they do then you should be able to do it, or if you are playing the game put points into the perk. I think it is just ship design, but when I was leveling it seemed, I needed to add some into something like leadership or something like that. Not 100% sure so done come for me 😜

If you used the extra large cockpit with the three wide room at the top, then add the small triangle upstairs and down stairs... maybe by putting the three sides of the triangle to the top of the cockpit. then putting a spine on the bottom entrance?? Hope that makes sense...
