People are too stupid to care. They just wanna run around and spam dps abilities. Almost every game I've played is either 1 tank and dps for the rest or just all dps. I play support to try and mitigate the stupidity, but people just run away so I can't heal them. The game needs a role queue like Overwatch. Don't want a massive queue time? Play support.

The circle icon is specific to Iron Fist, for his ability to dash towards targeted enemies. The display attack range setting just highlights the character when you're close enough.

Thank you for this. I was trying to figure out if they changed the feature because all it did for me was make enemies unnoticeably more enemy colored. Honestly, if you could customize the indicator to a separate color from default enemy color it might be a useful feature, but as is it's basically useless in gameplay.

The melee indicator isn’t the reticle. That’s specific only for Iron Fist. What it does is it highlights the whole character. It only works only for the characters and not the bots. Go try it in the spawned enemy character.

Something to mention for Jeff as well, sometimes you should go off the ledge yourself and let yourself die with the enemies you swallowed. If you can get 4 people, but you got say a rocket racoon, starlord, scarlet witch, and venom they can all recover from being off the stage. If you jump off the ledge yourself then they come out at the killbox and it's incredibly unlikely for them to recover.

A majority of ledges have terrain for you to climb in order to get high ground before you spit enemies out. Even if it's just a light pole, go up then spit them downward into the kill box. You won't have the time for it sometimes but it should be one of your first thoughts on the way there.

tbh that move is definitely getting taken out. doesn’t show the attack till it’s too late (most move too slow), moves faster than everyone, hard to hit, heals, no way to break out, AND every domination objective is right next to a ledge.

Heyy C&D main here A tip for Cloak&Dagger: As Dagger, if you put down her dome and switch to Cloak, you can deal damage while being healed by your own abilities.

The jumping in this game can be really helpful. I'm playing squirrel girl and if you are not directly jumping into the crossfire her tailbounce can realky help you to better line up your shots. It can be a bit tricky at first but after a few matches that can really help you giving the rest of your team cover fire or sniping pesky storm players out of the air^^

Peni destroys in domination maps. still playable in convoy or convergence but not quite strong cause you need to keep moving away from your spider nest. but i love peni. i main her when i get into comp cause she's that strong.

I've been doing this with Moon Knight: As you use your Jump just as you jump off of ledges or elevated places, tap your glide then shoot your grappling hook. I will give you a huge escape when needed! Hope this helps...

I'm really grateful for the custom rooms and AI matches. The practice range is nice for learning combos, but learning to synergize with other heroes with custom AI is a godsend. Plus I like making lore-based matches, like filling one team with the core Avengers, vs the villains.

Don’t grapple to high ground with Moon Knight. It’s far more effective and faster to grapple the ground beneath you and have that propel you into the sky where you can then glide.

one thing about jumping I’ve noticed, you can bunny hop perfectly if you wait for the sound of the first “step” when landing, there’s almost a clack you hear made up of 2 foot steps when you land, if you essentially parry the first step sound with another jump, it will work over and over. if you mess up the timing you’ll jump a little less as you go, but bunny hopping goes crazy in this game lol

I have a tip to recommend, with Jeff the shark. His ult is directional based so you don’t need to jump off you can sit on the edge of the map and spit them downward they’ll hit a death barrier before they can do anything

Yeah it is a fun role to play fs but if thats all you want in a game go play cod. The coolest part of these games is getting good with a certain playstyle and theres so much variety in the healing and tank fileds.

Some good tips here but also some very bad ones: Jumping puts you on a set trajectory, making it easier for the enemy to predict your movement and headshot you. It also makes your aim worse! Also, holding fire is never a good idea as you're having to track your target in time with your shots which is way more difficult. Even for fast wiring heroes like Bucky, you wanna make sure you're firing each shot individually (using Flick shots)

about the "hold down the primary fire button all the time, to not miss out on potential damage" - that only makes sense if you can guarantee to actually hit, like a tank, but most times it's better to "line up" shots and guarantee the hit rather then awkwardly trying to sync your aim perfectly with the attack-rhythm or in other words: not much benefit from shooting more if you miss more because of that

the circle is iron fist specific and has nothing to do with the setting, the setting tints enemies red while in melee range

I will say be careful about jumping while you shoot, as the game goes on people will learn how to predict jump movement just like they did in Overwatch and it will make you very very easy to 1v1 if someone is good

Another friendly Vanguard to start with Strange. Huge shield, AOE ability, AOE Ult, floating, and teleporting. Also please, please please stop queueing 5 duelists. There's team comp in a game for a reason and without someone to soak in the bullets and to heal your entire game falls through. I main Vanguard and Specialist because I knew day one there was going to be a duelist issue. Listen to Pings, especially if you're on PC. We have keyboards and mice a simple acknowledgement with a middle click does wonders. Group the hell up. If you see 4 icons and they're respawning fall back you being a lone wolf won't do anything at all. This is not cod or halo. If you keep kamikaze diving into the enemy without regrouping and feeding and blame your healer, you're the problem.

I still dont understand why people play Hero Shooters and only pick DPS, even when there's already 4 in the team. How many times i got in a team where was the only non-DPS player, and when i asked them to change for Healer or Tank, i got a magnificent "it's QP, chill". And we lost. And they blamed my healing skills (wow, i wasn't able to heal a spiderman and a black panther diving in 1v6 at the other side of the map, i'm so bad at healing aaaa)

I play luna snow if their are no strats. If there are no vanguards i play venom if strats are good and strange if strats don’t heal the huge black ball of death on their side. Like come on if venom is behing healed he can solo the whole team!
