The Starfinder Drift Crisis Actual Play premiere!
Starfinder Drift Crisis is an eight-episode adventure in which four brave souls aboard the Void Empress experience the Drift Crash up close and personal. These heroes must work together to survive the first moments of the Drift Crisis and make it home alive. Along the way, they’ll encounter mysterious creatures, haunting obstacles, and end up facing off against an influential foe.

Paizo is the superior publisher, and PF is a superior 'DnD' system. I lost interest in Wizards long before the recent kerfuffles. I moved over here for the better rules, better books, and more consumer friendly ecosystem. Wizards steps into a mess and I shrug. ORC will be better at doing what the original open license was intended to do anyway. I honestly don't care about Wizards or Hasbro because I've got Paizo

The cocktail party music description made me think of the Animusic 2 piece with the stringed multi instrument Edit: it's on KZbin, titled "Resonant Chamber" Edit 2: Camembert's rifle pull made me think of the unfolding weapons from Ratchet And Clank (Grab a little pneumatic socket driver which expands forward for length, and then the barrel/muzzle widens becoming an obvious sonic projector). Much more stealth and reasonable for a staff member in a high end cruise ship than making guests nervous with a full-on rifle strapped to her back!

@@bobnixon6220 lol I was EXTREMELY upset when I heard they were not going to be continuing Starfinder and picking up 5E! They made themselves on Pathfinder, why after so long did they decide to start playing 5E D&D? I kept an eye on the 5E videos on their KZbin channel and the videos didn't seem to be doing too well which I thought was hilarious! It must have been one of those things where the people who were complaining weren't numerous they were just loud, making them seem more numerous.

I love how important irrelevant information is to the game they are proceeding to play - "Hi my name is Jane Doe and I go by Deer/Deers" *facepalm*

It's not necessarily irrelevant, especially if you have to deal with people who have ambiguous names or outward presentation - one of the plot points of the 80s comedy "Mister Belvedere" was that the butler's first name is Leslie. On top of that, it's a useful way to handle the existence of gender variance gracefully (pronouns get provided or can be asked for) instead of having to fight over what words to use when you want to address someone respectfully when they're not "as expected" by older culture forms. I'm in with enough outliers to make this relevant in my daily life, even if you aren't.

@@tantamounted gender is just not a factor when I run or participate in tabletop. If I was at a game and was forced to follow this nonsense I would pack my stuff up, whish the players a good luck with their game and say goodbye, because my character is much more than just some pronouns. Gender has had no relevance in sessions where I play, I have both played a female and male characters and just played the character. We are much more then what the ever silly pronoun you choose to use. I don't consider myself above others or in a way extraordinarily special. I am just another individual in this world trying to do my best for the community instead of pointing fingers and say that everybody is against me. Plus I am not trying to change the whole world to suit me rather I adjust to the world and people around me. My opinion of this nonsense is that it is psychotic and narcissistic victim behaviour and attempt at treying to be "special".

@@antonheimdal8445 I've role-played for many decades, both with and without formal rule sets. My characters, and those of the people I've played with, are also often much more than a handful of numbers and words, including pronouns, and sometimes we also get quite attached to them and their stories. If someone wanted to use unusual pronouns for themselves or their character, I might have a hard time remembering, but I'd at least try to accommodate. Only if other behavior becomes an issue would I have a problem with that person. After all, a fantasy game may have elements where this is a common feature for some characters, or a plot point within the structure of the story. And people are simply not all built the same in the real world, outside or in. It's neither psychotic nor narcissistic (two terms much used, but often poorly understood, when describing the mental state of those who diverge from presumed generic average) to choose pronouns of one's own, and in fact may be (from what I've seen) a regular experience when experimenting with unusual characters as one finds one's own identity. It is unusual to use what have been called xenogenders among the general public, which it appears is your complaint, but quite frankly you're extending the argument beyond what's necessary if that's the case. The thing we saw in this video was ordinary people (and their characters) using common pronouns, which are included on the screen occasionally for the sake of convenience. And I think that's just fine. Honestly, while I don't doubt your tale of personal experience, I also have personal experience that would have me wish you a well meant goodbye so the other people welcomed at my table could enjoy our games in peace and joy.
