I can see Starfire winning for sure. She's supposed to be a really good fighter. But that super speed from Supergirl and super strenth really gives her an edge. I think it comes down to her just being more durable and much stronger. It's the same reason Wonder Woman loses against super man most of the time, She's a far better fighter but Supes is just stronger, faster, and tougher. Same thing here, Supergirl just has a powerset that's hard to physically take on. But I'm totally ok with how you worked out your opinion here. Good video! It's nice to see folks give Starfire the credit she deserves.

@@begmack I agree that Supergirl should win the majority of the time. But Starfire technically possesses the skills to beat her. DC doesn't really do a good job highlighting her actual skills, instead they kinda focus on her alieness and her sex appeal. But she's been highly trained by her own people in most forms of combat, but writers don't tend to focus on that too much at all. I mean, some folks are surprised to even know that she is superhumanly strong and can punch holes through steal walls, with no problem. She's also been trained similarly to WW since birth basically. She's a real beast if you do a deep dive on her character, she has a ton of skills. But DC has a real issue letting any other characters shine if they're not the bat-fam or Kryptonian. I'm guessing that's more to do with sales & popularity than anything else.

@@begmack Combining both of your comments into this response: Supergirl was trained on Krypton but it wasn't like it was *serious* training compared to Starfires. It was military like but it wasn't like she had to put it to the test all that much. Still it's better than nothing and she was good at it. Supergirl is Stronger than the average Kryptonian for sure, no doubt about that. And you're right skills can sometimes be overcome by overwhelming power in some cases. Now, I agree Starfire does get _jobbered_ an awful lot, but if we strip away, plot armor from both of the characters, I think the fight is closer than you might think. Remember Wonder Woman can almost take Superman out due to her superior combat prowess, that situation is present here in Starfire, since it's no contest when it comes to fighting ability Starfire is just better at close-quarters combat. But, I still think Supergirl is going to win, but just by a hair. I don't agree that Starfire will win the majority of the time, but I can see how someone could come to the conclusion that she could. The character is really just hampered by not being bat-fam or Superman-Fam which are very popular with the readers. When I read mainstream comics, it's never with a who'd actually win mentality, it's a who's the more popular character and that usually who wins most of the time. But with that said, I did say... _I could see Starfire win_ it's not out of the question just not likely and if she did win it would make sense.
