Cosimo II de Medici (the patron of Galileo among other things) had a Greek motto/logo: "κοσμος Κοσμωι κοσμος" "The cosmos of Cosimo is the cosmos" or "The domain of Cosimo is the universe." Galileo named the four satellites of Jupiter he discovered the Medicean stars in honour of Cosimo.

Brilliant writing and the acting performance was pitch perfect. It’d be so tempting to go bigger with this but it was kept low key and honest. Great original concept and content!

Whenever I come across a post of someone asking what position in Starfleet would I like to have, I've answered for many years that I would love to be a chaplain in Starfleet. Thanks for the video, Steve. 🖖

Given that you're an atheist, and this series is done in with a comedic bent, I want to commend you for handling the subject with reverence and respect. At no point did the humor feel to me, as a person of faith, like it was punching down. Thank you for that. P.S.: I also appreciated the not so subtle jab about accountability for atrocities by a person in an elected position of authority

I would not want to be the Chaplin on B5. You would need a whole every week just for Londo.

Thank you for this series - it has been a joy to watch. You treated the character with respect, and I suspect that you either talked with a chaplain - or you are just that good at understanding what others experience. Either way, thank you again!

A while back, I actually participated in a not-Trek, but Trek-inspired RP and my character (not human, I figured it would be interesting to have an alien adherent, though) was a UU chaplain. Not a lot of my fellow RPers understood why I chose to make him UU, especially when the lore document for the setting stated that people from his culture tended to gravitate more towards Greco-Roman pagan revival than other Earth-based religions.

Half of them are UU. The other half are Mormon.

I was on the NDPR in a Field Artillery unit, and you had periodic (unannounced) urinalysis. Once when coming back from a GDP recon and after a couple of riding back in a Jeep I had to go. I did so, and as soon as I did, the Medic came in to take a sample. I spent the day drinking water to be able to produce enough water.

TBH Lower Decks needed stuff like this more than what we got. This is legit funny but feels VERY in canon. Additional thought: What sort of Chaplain would be needed for a Synthetic lifeform? Would it be just someone well versed in code? A historian of computer technology?
