And then things start going downhill. He is placed on the council but denied the rank of master, told to spy on the chancellor (which went against his morality) and Master Kenobi wouldn't help him out. Then, he starts having dreams about Padme dying and tells Yoda about it, but doesn't get any help. His faith in the Jedi Order is crumbling. His confidence is then increased towards the wrong side as Palpatine tells him about the Jedi and Sith being near equals, as well as the tragedy of Darth Plagueis. This then causes him to get attracted towards the dark side due to them supposedly having the power to save people from dying, like he wanted in Episode 2. The last straw happens when he finds out Palpatine--the one he desires help from--is the Sith Lord. Conflicted between two sides, he ultimately decides to save the ones he loved in the first place and turns to darkness. The worst part is, he didn't save anyone.

@joseignacioreallozano3484 жыл бұрын
I don't think anything would have changed I mean, c'mon, just with the films the Jedi were already aware that something was about to happen, and that the Sith were in control of the senate Then, with the Clone Wars series they have even more reasons to be aware, like, c'mon, the Five's arc? Yoda's arc later? The Jedi were just too full of themselves to even care, they thought they were unbeatable, and why wouldn't they think otherwise? They were winning the war. Sidious had manipulated it so they felt that way, but the sad truth is... Sidious didn't create that feeling, just fed it, the jedi had this coming for a long time, and let it happen. Just a simple comment from Ashoka wouldn't have change anything, sadly.

Honestly the Clone Wars Cartoon - both of them - really push the best parts of a prequel story. Most prequels shouldn't matter, especially when characters from the later series are in it. Obi-Wan and Anakin can't have lasting damage or anything. Yet with great writing, animation bringing them to life, and fantastic voice work to give them and other characters' souls, The Clone Wars Cartoons show the path to darkness, the tragedy briefly obscured by the bittersweet happiness we see these characters experience. For every moment we see Anakin and Obi Wan bantering,Ahsoka being Snippy, or the general positivity, the original trilogy's facts haunt from just beyond the horizon.

That makes it so much sadder...Not that Ahsoka could do anything at that point.
@basak97464 жыл бұрын
I think she heard it because there was a strong force bond/connection between them (kinda like the thing between Luke and Leia I guess). Dave said something about their force bond in the past and there was a mention in the Ahsoka novel. Ofc that bond died after Anakin turned into Darth Vader, that's why she couldn't sense him or contact with him after order 66.
@HHHPedigrees4 жыл бұрын
I don’t think she heard it. That was for the viewers to understand the timeline and what was going on in ROTS. She only felt a disturbance in the force.
@trekstarsam24944 жыл бұрын
@@HHHPedigrees I agree. Ahsoka couldn't have saved Anakin, if anything, he probably would have convinced her to join him on the dark side, their bond was so strong, and Ahsoka was not as strong yet at she was in Rebels. She almost decided to join up Darth Maul until he mentioned Anakin. It was a good thing that she thought Anakin was dead before meeting him in Rebels many years later, just as he assumed she was dead as well.

When I say my heart breaks when I think about Ahsoka and Anakin's story I really do mean it. Something so pure was ruined by evil intentions and manipulations. I really want to see an alternate reality where Ahsoka stays next to Anakin to be a Jedi knight and Anakin being a Jedi master.

Also the sudden shift where he felt that he was going to loose it all in the end, that threw him directly in to the grasp of the Emperor and the DarkSide, extremely highs are dangerous as it could turn on you very quickly and feel overwhelming. This is what solidified Darth Vader in the end.

Makes sense. I saw an Instagram post on this too, and people were so ignorant they started saying that Ahsoka wasn't canon because she wasn't mentioned in the prequels. Thankfully the people who've watched this video understand this. Disney/Lucasfilm could even canonize this theory that one of the reasons Anakin was happy in ROTS was because Ahsoka may come back to the Order.

There is another reason for him to be happy, he finally understood why Ashoka left, it was not his fault and there was nothing he could do to avoid it, because "it was the will of the force" to find Maul and that's why he bealive she will return once he is capture

Imagine if the counsel sent Anakin to face General Grievous with Obi, he would have never been assigned to spy on Palps - at least not yet - and he would have never been able to turn Anakin because he was on Utapau and Padmé would have given birth by the time he arrived.

It's a war crime regardless. The next time a clone trooper or republic civilians surrender, the separatist are justified to not accept and murder all those who surrender in fear of trickery. That is why it's a war crime, because it breaks the sanctity of surrender. The reason why war crimes exist isn't to protect the opposite sides, but both sides of the conflict to ensure needless violence and deaths are limited, and thus two side agree certain limitations of conduct. People don't understand this, but the direct penalty of commiting a war crime is not only trials and punishment, but direct effect on the battlefield itself

CW Anakin really brings light to the movie Anakin to me. Since throughout CW we see him mature, become more likable and relatable. He brings that through the beginning of RoTS when he was still the same likable and relatable character, but then Palpatine. Just Palpatine.

What I found to be the best part was that he entrusted Ahsoka to fight Maul on her own while also trusting Rex to lead the Siege of Mandalore. This explains why neither are in Revenge of The Sith and why he is able to remain on Corouscant without worrying about her. Though I find it bizarre that he didn't bother to contact her at all.

Just imagine how nice it would be if everything went perfectly. Sidious would be defeated without turning Anakin, padme would give birth to Luke and Leia, and they would have a normal life with their mother, father, auntie ahsoka, uncle obi, and uncle rex. The twins would also be trained properly in the ways of the force, and would probably become even stronger jedi than their father.
