How Darth Vader and the 501st SLAUGHTERED 8 Jedi At Once... Because of 1 Idiotic Jedi - Star Wars

As the Clone Wars came to an end and the troopers who served the Republic turned on their Jedi Generals in the events of Order 66, only very few Jedi were able to escape with their lives. These few remaining survivors were forced to scramble across the galaxy and hide in any way that they could, to avoid the wrath of Darth Vader. One Jedi Master however attempted to gather a group of surviving Jedi together so that they could strike back at Palpatine’s new empire and restore light to the galaxy… At least, that’s what she told the others… in reality, she wanted to lure Darth Vader to her group of survivors, which would force them to take action and kill the dark lord… So, lets find out how this attempt went…

So the story begins all the way out on Eriadu, deep in the outer rim, and also the homeworld of Tarkin. A group of prowling clone troopers are on the hunt, only a very short time after Order 66, hunting for their Jedi General who managed to evade their attacks.
The clone commander calls for his men to get moving more quickly as he believes he has a trace on the master. The group of troopers eventually come to a dead end, wondering where the Master could possibly have gone. The second in command of the group asks his commander “What does it matter? The Jedi are dead… those left are scattered”... The commander however responds, telling him that Order 66 still remains in effect and so if they spot one, they absolutely must kill it…
Moments later, their cunning Jedi general leaks out into the pouring rain of Eriadu with his lightsaber steaming, telling the clones that perhaps the Jedi are not so easy to kill when they actually know who their enemies are…
After this, the Master leaps through air and his green blade slices through the clone trooper’s backs killing each one sees and finally taking off the head of his once good friend and former commander. After wiping out all of the men in his former squad, he hears a distant voice call out and tell him that he did a good job. Master Tsui Choi is concerned by this, raising his green blade and demanding that the person show themself. To his relief, if is another Jedi knight, Bultar Swann who has come to his rescue. Master Choi is absolutely shocked that she managed to live and she tells him that she was on duty at a med station, checking the wounded when the clones suddenly turned against her and attacked. Master Choi says that he was in transit with his starfighter when he heard the false return signal coming from the Jedi temple and then later the one from Obi-Wan telling the Jedi to stay away… At that point, he ditched the fighter and played dead… After saying this, he feels more sadness wash over him as he recounts hearing the reports about the younglings being slaughtered in the temple.

It always marvels me, when we've seen Anakin overwhelmed before, that Vader can just easily rip apart whole groups of other Jedi; individuals who were battle-tested, and whose use in the Force had raised many of them to the position of Master. I know he's the chosen one, and this time he even lost a hand, but it just always shocks me how one-man-army Darth Vader can be, and makes me sad that when I'm running an RPG campaign, the likes of such are impossible; player action economy trumps big bad NPC. Oh well, still a cool fight, and I always liked how she tried to make use of the lightsaber disrupting quality of Cortosis to beat Vader, which few other enemies ever attempted.

I'm pretty sure the Jedi are fully aware of the inhibitor chips that make the clones obey orders so I assume they realize that if they aren't taking orders from the Jedi anymore they can't be reasoned with

I always put it down to Order 66 being absolute. No amount of reasoning would work, especially with no means of getting rid of or locating the inhibitor chip.

When this comic was made there was no Inhibitor chip, it was just understood that the Jedi had tried to overthrow the chancellor, they had less authority than Palpatine, and the clones follow orders without hesitation because that's all they know in life. In one novel called Dark Lord, some Jedi do reason with a clone commando squad, and they're given basically a headstart before the regular clones find them.

The thing is most of those Jedi were actually really neat and well done and were killed by arrogance, it made it more immersive and didn’t make the Jedi seem like too much of cookie cutter characters that were destined to die anyways I actually wanted some one to get away, but then again it’s Vader so you can’t do much no how

IF ANYONE CAN HELP. I remember an old comic back when revenge of the sith came out where a small Jedi who looked like tsui choi fought Darth Vader and almost won. Before he did he asked Vader if he wanted to know of his downfall. Something eluding to his son. But before he could finish I believe the Jedi was killed by stormtroopers. To be honest they actually did good in their fight against Vader considering that they are weaker jedi. They managed to hit Vader a few times, deactivated his lightsaber and cut off his arm. Imagine the one thats about to fall to the dark side killed Vader this might spark hope to the galaxy and Obi Wan,Yoda and Ahsoka might come out of hiding and with some help they can bring down the empire.

Vader is probably a reason they are in hiding but I think another big reason is they realize they don't have an army....which is what palps has with the clones. Even those 4 Jedi together couldnt take down the entire empire alone

Vader is a better duelist than Anakin in either continuity. In Canon he is simply more powerful in every aspect, matching Sidious, while Legends Vader is a bit of a sad lil' beach, who's overshadowed by Legends Knightfall/Mustafar Vader
