StarFox 64 Expert (Hard Path)

Seven missions and five medals! Sorry about the occasional audio hiccup. The emulator I'm using is causing it. Not sure how to go about fixing the issue.

Started playing this in 1997 when I was 5. In 2020 as a 28 year old, I finally found out how to get to the hard path thanks to google. I would get so frustrated wondering If those other floating planets even served a purpose. I finally beat the game after about 20 attempts on the hard course.

I remember back when I was a kid, I discovered this game on my 3DS and played the absolute FUCK out of it. I only ever completed the hard route once in my childhood but took the easy route most of the time because I was a noob back then, but that's not really what I wanna say. What I wanna say is that this game means a lot to me because it was one of the first to really ignite my creativity and open my mind, its almost poetic in a way that a video about one of the most nostalgic games of my childhood would pop up in my reccomend as of the the end of 2020 witch has undoubtedly been the hardest year of my life so far. Here a legendary ambition was born and buried, and here it shall be resurrected.

When I saw Fox with his dad's shades, I was wondering if it was a ROM hack. It's not; that's just what he looks like in Expert Mode. So Fox and his dad look the same.

Back in the days those graphics were amazing. Nowadays they look amazing too. Also, like 20 years have passed since the last time i´ve played this game and I just realized two things: 1) The real composition at the 2:43 picture. Back then i´ve never figured the perspective, now I realized that there are two enemies ships and Pigmas Arwing shooting against James... 2) And the yellow mark on a boss fight at all-range mode was a "B" for Boss, I thought it was a random yellow mark... (lol)

There is a secret... If you avoid to use the laser, you'll make more points, cause kill The enemies in an efficient way. In Corneria I've got 211 once.

My biggest challenge in Expert Mode is to get through Katina without losing a single wing. It's very easy to crash with other ships in that planet.

How do you get to fight star wolf in venom, fight andross in true form, and get the good ending.

As far as I can remember you can also reach Area 6 after skipping the boss (on) Mechbeth.

Two ways. From Sector Z or Macbeth, which will take you to Area 6 (the latter you must do something or else you will end up on Bolse). When in Macbeth, to get to Area 6, you MUST do what Peppy tells you to; shoot the eight switches, then shoot the switcher if you shot all 8. To get to Sector Z, there are two ways. 1. Warp in Sector X. You gotta be quick to shoot all the gates. You find these gates by taking a left at the divided spot half way through the level rather than right. 2. Shoot every single searchlight in Zoness without being spotted. There is one behind a door you have to shoot the rudder to open on the right side after the one Peppy helps you open. Shoot all the missiles at Sector Z to reach Area 6. Do that and you're golden.

One hit, and your wing's gone. Thank god you can't lose your blaster upgrades with the Blue Marine and the Landmaster. Honestly though, the All-Range Mode battles turn into hell, especially Katina. Say goodbye to your wings there because you'll be dealing with allies and enemies crashing into you

@@sebastian6898 a lot of people are unaware there’s a Landmaster and On-Foot version of the multiplayer mode, because they’re so difficult to unlock.
