same like...there r so many bisexual, and gay people that play straight people and vice versa, sexual preference has nothing to do with acting....ie: Ellen page. But i guess it boils down to his own philosophy and maybe he felt so repressed about keeping his sexuality hidden for so long that he feels uncomfortable acting straight when he's been acting that way most of his life??? its definitely deep trauma and psychological shit.

Honestly there is alot of shows that don't need to have like a love intrest in it and you can watch it perfectly fine.
