A guilty pleasure for me. I was always fascinated with ancient Egypt and time travel, this was a perfect blend and very subtle effort from Emmerich compared to what we would see from him later in his career lol.

A lot of comparisons made with James Spader’s character and Milo Thatch from Atlantis: the lost empire from Summer 2001. Especially the mannerisms and hairstyle.
