This interrogation reminds me of an exchange in DS9 between Garak and Enabran Tain (Garak's father) where they reminisce about one of Garak's interrogations during his days at the Obsidian Order. Where he apparently never spoke a word & got a confession & all the guy could say afterwards was "His eyes...his eyes." He must've went to the Teal'c Order of Interrogation since DS9 does take place in the 2300s...sooooo...maybe...possible...crossover somewhere. :D

From Joseph Mallozzi: "I remember one of the scenes I had trouble with was the interrogation of the captured Trust operative. I was wracking my brain, trying to figure out how Teal’c could get him to talk when Rob Cooper - as he often did whenever we reached a creative roadblock - had a suggestion. In this case, simply have Teal’c lean in and whisper something in the operative’s ear. Something so terrifying that the operative immediately starts talking. So, what did Teal’c whisper in his ear? Something just too horrible to repeat." Although I suppose Christopher Judge whispered *something* during the scene which a lip-reader might decipher.

Teal'c told him he was going to take him to Pangera, find a tank with the remaining full grown, brain dead, goa'uld's, that Egeria spawned, and throw him in, if he didn't cooperate. *sits down and stares* "Sir?... Are you gonna start the lesson?" *leans forward* *chair starts creaking* "Sir?" *Teal'c leans over and whispers something in his ear* "ummm, yes sir, I guess your right" *pulls out notepad and writes silence* "That is the conclusion of our lesson" Teal'c said "Have a good day sir" "I will indeed"

MaryJanePSO2 it's a bluff. Teal'c is on tratonine, he hasn't needed a symbiote since season 6. Plus, even if he still had it, and could survive the removal, the symbiote would be too immature to be able to extract information fully, or even take over or blend properly.

The thing about pain and violence is that they tend to freeze the mind, the suspect/victim is too busy to think. Most of the time you don't only need an admission of guilt, you need information. If the subject cannot remember his own address you are in trouble. Being what Teal'c is, he could just whisper to the guy about the mating habits of the Dzur of Rung. And about how he could arrange for the subject to see them. First hand. They are something like spider wasps.
