If they had one extra line about the equipment going through an x-ray and the one more later about the cameras being shielded or emitting some kind of false x-ray signature, that could have cleaned that right up and the rogue NID's involvement would explain how they got that capability.

There's been a few over the years. There's one where SG1 wants advanced tech and the aliens want heavy water. When Jack realises they're basically space Nazi's he destroys their base and leaves their leader to die. I remember the horror on Carter's face when she realises saving this man is within their power, but Jack will leave him to die for his beliefs. You see the comedian give way to the battle hardened vet that's seen things. It's an incredible scene

Don't feel bad, Jack - this episode always irritated me, too. The "most secure facility on the face of the planet" consists of an elevator that goes straight down to the ship... and a grand total of four SFs guarding the place. A place like that would be crawling with guards. And when outsiders were scheduled to visit, there'd be more than usual, not less.

They are not mistakes. It's just part off the process. It's a tv show, not a documentary. Were you not entertained? People have gotten real weird about the same actor being on a show multiple X also. But that used to happen all the time. If you watch old TV shows, you'll often see the same character actors in two or three different roles during the same season. Also a starring actor in different roles in different seasons
@logical-checkmate
@logical-checkmate 2 жыл бұрын
@@macmcleod1188 The actor thing is completely understandable, long running TV show with many one off characters. Sooner or later you have to recycle actors. That said, the tire tracks is immersion breaking and is absolutely a mistake, because someone could have just went around and drive around it criss cross, creating more tire-tracks. You know, since there was at the time very serious incident that just happened and plenty of vehicles must have arrived. There, problem solved, immersion not only saved, but even increased. They didn´t, it´s a mistake.

I dug about and it reminds me of an M114 Command and Reconnaissance Carrier, a vehicle designed to supplement the M113 in those roles during the Vietnam War but did such a terrible job at it that it barely saw any action and was replaced by the M551 Sheridan for recon and (probably) the M577 for command.
