Showing you guys a way I went about fixing mismatching normals on my meshes when I need them all to face the same way.

I mention in the video that I thought of another way to do it. The reason I went such a long way about doing it is because in my project setup I was using a loop to do other things, so I just piggybacked onto that. Here's a link to a way shorter way to do it not using a loop: imgur.com/YXxnPAy
