there is a reason why dancing has been an integral part of traditional courtship for literal millennia. as a person who has taken ballroom dancing and other forms of 'couples dancing', i can tell you from experience that you learn ALOT about eachother in those moments you are dancing together. one can even say that you dont truly know someone, until you dance with them. it is as intimate as it is proper and classy. You learn how engaged he is, how responsible he is, how he leads, how gentle he is, how commanding he is, how he would lead you and move you, how relaxed of a person he is.... and vice versa you you learn how relaxed she is, how well she follows your lead, how stiff or relaxed she is, how willing she is, how TRUSTING she is, how engaged she is with you. in other words, you both can literally FEEL eachothers personality through holding eachother and dancing together. Dancing is more than just moving around together in a dance floor. its about you both learning how to work together as a team and both sides have equally important rolls - just like how a proper relationship in life works. thats why this dance changing them doesnt surprise me at all. this is the first time theyve had a chance to truly GET TO KNOW eachother through actual physical contact and working together as one.

Believe if anything what's coming on next arcs is not bland at all, in fact is the opposite of that in different degrees of extremes! Sure we all want them to finally be open about their feelings even on the manga but the author has been cooking and right now they are a power couple like no joke, they together did something kinda amazing in one of the following battles, like it's one of the most hyped arcs for a reason. The author knows what it's doing, let it cook and we will surely get something amazing after the holiday hiatus ends.
