Great video. Thank you for posting! There are many times in this that it would seem a lighter eBike might be advantageous? Was the power available over the top, unusable for these conditions, or was it helpful? I drool over the VARG. I'm 62.

Yeah or even no bike at all :) a big part of the adventure is to actually find a way to get you and your bike through the terrain. A lighter e-bike would be much easier but it wouldn’t be the same.

Sir...I would love to know if you feel like missing a clutch makes it more difficult? For me the ability to modulate power with a finger pull is better than just having a wrist twist action...waiting with baited breath on the range test.

So excited for my Varg to arrive! So how does the weight (263lbs) feel in the woods? My Freeride E-XC is agile (changes directions easily) but can definitely feel the weight and it is only 245 lbs. My Alta EXR was about 270 lbs. Your thoughts on the Varg compared to the Freeride? Also when you get a chance set up a short woods loop and do a lap time comparison of your Varg, TE300, and Freeride E-XC...I recently did one and came within 0.1 secs on each bike.... kzbin.info/www/bejne/eajVqXl8mJKXlck

When it comes to agility I think that the Varg is way closer to the E-XC then the 300, but with the same kind of power and suspension as the 300. Best of two worlds. You dont feel the weight when youre riding, in that sense its really comparable with the E-XC. You do feel it when your doing tight turns in slow speed or pick it up from the ground, but its nothing crazy. It weights more or less the same as my 300 with a full tank of gas. I dont own the E-XC anymore, but I will do a comparison with the 300 for sure!
