Grand Central is going to Sunderland, but where is the one of Bradford 😞😕

And btw, is nice u see 91119, HT HST (FGW) , LNER Azumas and 82205 (flying Scotsman) and 91121 (TrainRow) is my favourite train number then any other 91's.

I tend to have some strange luck on the east coast. On my Grantham video I saw loads of Grand Central Services and here not that many.
@StarlifeStudios5 жыл бұрын
I was pleased to see 91119 here. I knew which service it was on before I arrived but I actually thought the intercity livery was on 91118 for some reason. So when I arrived disappointed that I’d missed 91118 by about 2 minutes and saw 91119 come through next I was pumped for some high speed action!

It certainly is, a common sight soon to be removed from British and Australian railways! The XPTs have the same engines as those by East Midlands Trains. My Loughborough video shows that the best.

Why is a grand central train stopping
@StarlifeStudios4 жыл бұрын
RachelMCooks It had to stop at a red signal on the mainline to let the stopping LNER go in front. I believe this is quite common on the East Coast Mainline South just because there are so many trains.

Why were there FGW hsts?

Lubdhak Das Hull trains has leased a set or two from GWR to cover for unavailable 180 Units. They are still running today!
@Great_WesternTVFan5 жыл бұрын
@@StarlifeStudios that's quite nice! So most of them are moved to Scotrail and some are leased from gwr. Nice proof that the gwr hsts didn't die yet.

Plus, what does leased mean?
@StarlifeStudios5 жыл бұрын
Hi Lubdhak, the ScotRail ones are particularly interesting for me. I’m hoping to travel to Scotland to get some footage of them soon.
@StarlifeStudios5 жыл бұрын
Leased means that they’re given it from their own in exchange for a cost. So in this case, Porterbrook/Angel Trains own the HST, they allow Great Western Railway to use it at a price per mile, Great Western Railway have then given it (sub-leased) to Hull Trains who ultimately pay GWR a price per mile. I hope that makes sense, it can be a little confusing.

I miss them N1TH! The east coast isn't the same without them!
@n1thmusic2294 жыл бұрын
@@StarlifeStudios Well it could have been better without them because the azumas can do 140 instead of 125, although the HST once did 148, it can't operate at that speed, and the intercity 225 can certainly operate at 140 so we could have had faster trains but instead we have no HSTs and the same speed limits
