I have noticed that the Google speed test returns lower speeds on Starlink. Try the built-in one, or go to Ookla and try a test from there.

@@moki123g Yes, different tests return different results. The speed depends on the load that is put on the connection, the device used and more. Nice is on the Starlink advanced test you can also see the speed between the device and router. Over time I will make more tests and will have an update video.

Can you use your cel phone to call?

@@trail457 Yes, your provider has to enable Wi-Fi calling unless it is automatically provided. And you have to turn the Wi-Fi calling on in the phone menu. We have been using Wi-Fi calling not just on the Mini but also on the regular home Starlink.

WAIT A MINUTE? I just checked on line. Mini=$599 + Unlimited monthly subscription=$150 + Shipping=$20 + DC Adapter plug=$15 + Case=$150. So about $2,500 for the first year! Wow, you got to Really love your internet for that. 👎

It not $2500 for the first year as you keep it many more years you depreciate over more years. All you need the is the Starlink Mini for $599. If you want other accessories that is your choice. Also it depends on what data plan you choose for your Mini and if you already have a Starlink Standard. All we paid is the $599 plus Shipping and we added 50GB for $30/month for Starlink Mini on top of the unlimited data we have for the standard Starlink.
